Karma walked on the road with some thoughts in his mind.

He got a text from Arisa saying that Nagisa was feeling quite under the weather today. The red-head couldn't help but worry.

"Nagisa chan caught a cold, so she couldn't come to school today! Visit her for us, won't you akabane kun? Thx!
ヽ(^Д^)ノ"

...was what it said.

He was wondering where Nagisa was this morning. He didn't think she was late, Nagisa was never late.

Getting the text from Arisa answered his questions. Now that he thinks about it, she was probably too dizzy to text him.

Although, Karma was pretty sure Arisa purposely didn't visit because it was just a get-up of hers so that he and Nagisa could be alone together.

Nevertheless, he continued his walk to the bluenette's house.

He rang the doorbell.

He heard a few footsteps along with a familiar voice. "Yes!" Soon after, the door opened.

There, he saw Nagisa, whose face looked a little more red than usual. Her lock of hair wasn't in pigtails as it fell down her back.

"Yo," He smiled. "You feeling any better?"

Nagisa gave him a smile. "I am, I felt much worse this morning. But I feel better now."

She invited him inside. "I'm alone right now, my mom and my dad are working."

Karma didn't know what to think about her parents leaving their sick daughter alone at home. He couldn't decide wether he should be happy or not. What he's surely happy about though, is that the fact that her menacing mother isn't home.

"I see." Karma sat down the couch. "Sorry, I made you get the door." He apologized.

Nagisa also sat down on the couch. "No, it's fine. I was downstairs, anyway."

She smiled as she picked up her cup of tea, "When you're sick, it's good to rest, but it's not good to be in the same room the whole day. That's why I moved here to get different air." She explained, getting a hum from Karma as a repsonse.

"...Well, at least that was what Korosensei said." She smiled sheepishly as she chuckled.

Karma let out a small laugh as he looked at the feverish girl. Nagisa took a sip of her tea and set it back down the table.

The red-haired boy opened his bag and took something out. He threw it to Nagisa, making her catch it. "Here."

Nagisa looked at what she caught. It was a carton of vanilla milk. "Ah!" She exclaimed. "Thanks, Karma!"

She blushed, "And I was just thinking about wanting it, too..."

Karma chuckled, "You're like a little kitten, always wanting to drink milk." He used his teasing tone of his as he spoke.

"H-hey! You're not one to talk, Karma!"

Oh, how her smile looked so adorable.

Karma wanted to look at her all evening, honestly.

Their little moment was cut short by the sound of the doorbell ringing once again.

"Who would interrupt us at a time like this?" Karma secretly thought to himself.

Nagisa looked at the door, confused. She stood up and walked. The bluenette hadn't expected another visitor today.

She opened the door, "Yes?"
