Third Person ViewYamaguchi was sitting on a couch, looking at his messages. Some older girls were asking him to hang out, which he replied with a "I'm busy.".
March 13th.
He noticed the date on his phone. He eyed the number for a few seconds, thinking what day it would be tomorrow.
"Here, it's your share."
Her words repeated in his head from the day.
Something about those words made Yamaguchi a little down. "Your share", as in he got the same thing everyone she gave got.
"What I want isn't that..." He thought.
Yamaguchi wanted her to say, "Yamaguchi-kun, I made this especially for you.", and it was no secret.
He sighed as he fiddled with his phone before he went up to his kitchen. After deciding in his mind, he grabbed a few kitchen utensils. He prepared the things he needed.
A couple of minutes later, Iyo came downstairs to grab a cup of pudding on the fridge. The scent of something sweet caught her attention.
Iyo was surprised to hear the clanking of metal and silverware from the kitchen. It's not even dinner yet, she thought.
What made her even more surprised is that when she decided to peek in the kitchen, she saw her older brother stirring white chocolate over a ban marie.
Iyo inched closer and peered over his shoulder. "Brother is making chocolate?" She asked with surprise.
"Out, Iyo."
Iyo's eyes widened, "Is Brother making chocolate for White Day!?"
"I said out, Iyo," Yamaguchi repeated.
Iyo looked at Yamaguchi and then smiled happily. She knew if she questioned him further, things wouldn't look too good for her. "Oh, who is the lucky girl?"
All these years, Iyo had never seen Yamaguchi make chocolate, especially for White Day. Not a single girl had received back chocolates from him, and they are all left with disappointment.
Until today, apparently.
She blushed, "So Brother did fall in love..."
Iyo gleefully skipped to the fridge and grabbed a small cup of pudding with a spoon. "Good luck, Brother~"
Whoever will be receiving those chocolates better be grateful, Iyo thought. She would be the first person to receive chocolates from Yamaguchi.
-Time skip-
It was the next day, and Nagisa was eating lunch with her friends, as usual.
She was quite proud of her bento today because she had properly made the omelette of her omurice perfectly. Fluffy, a bit half-cooked, and simply delicious.
"Hey, hey," Arisa spoke after she swallowed her food. "Let's hang out later! Are you guys free?"
Chiyuki said, "I'm free..."
"Same here." Sasahara followed, taking a bite out of his sandwich.
"Me too." Nagisa was the last to reply.
"Awesome! Ask Akabane-kun, too, Nagisa-chan."
"I will! Where are we going?"
"Ehehe," Arisa laughed proudly, putting her finger under her chin. "Actually... I've got that all planned out! There's this fast food restaurant I've been dying to try..."
