The crackling sound of fire filled the summer night.

Circling the fire were the boys, grilling the fish that they caught earlier that day.

"What a strange feeling," Nagisa thought as she smiled.

"What's wrong, Shiota-san?" As if on cue, Nakano sat down beside the blue-haired girl.

The sudden presence of the girl startled Nagisa just a bit. "Ah, Nakano-san. I was just thinking..."

"I would be glad to lend an ear." The polite girl smiled.

Nagisa looked in her eyes. It really was just something dumb, she thought. But she wanted to tell her friends dumb things too, once in a while.

She looked at everyone.

"It's just that... They're all having so much fun. It just reminded me of when I was in middle school," She started.

"Before we knew it, we were already graduating. We went through some horrible situations, yet at the end of the day, we still smiled."

She thought back to her old friends. Rio, Kayano, Sugino, Okuda, Korosensei... and the rest of the class.

Nagisa looked up at the moon. "Of course I had some regrets those years... But time moved on too quickly, much too fast for me to keep up. The memories I made with everyone, wether it was sad moments, scary experiences, fun times... I held them close to my heart."

She smiled sheepishly at her, "I know it's childish, but I never wanted it to end. Maybe I'm feeling that way again right now, at this moment."

The girl next to her was a little surprised by her words. But smiled nonetheless. "I see. I feel the same way, Shiota-san. I had a blast these two years of high school. And that was mostly because of everyone here."

The two looked at the group. Iyo was shrieking to Nanashima and the other two about something. Something probably dumb, Nagisa thought, like maybe how the fish was staring at her even though it's already dead. Arisa and Chiyuki laughed at them.

"Everyone's smiles... I want to keep seeing them everyday. That's why..." Nakano stood up and reached a hand out to Nagisa.

"Let's have fun and make lots of memories together, Shiota-san!"

Nagisa looked at her hand before smiling and put her hand in hers. "Yeah!"

-Time skip-

It was a very sudden turn of events for Nagisa and her group the next morning.

Heavy rain poured down, strong wind accompanying it. The leaves on the palm trees shook vigorously as thunder blarred.

"A summer storm," Sasahara had said. "It'll pass by tomorrow. But still, that means we can't go out."

Nanashima layed his arms out. "Man, this sucks!"

Arisa took another bite of her pancake. "Oh well. I guess we can hang out here."

"Iyo suggests the game room!" Iyo raised her hand up, a butter knife still in her grip. "The perfect solution for this situation!"

"Wait a minute, what about Karma and Shiota-san and the others?" Igarashi spoke.

Arisa was about to ask "What about them?" before she realized something. "AH, that's right! They went to a nearby grocery store to buy snacks!"

Just as she said that, they heard the main door opening and closing. "We're back..." It sounded like Nagisa's voice.
