Chapter 37: Promising Event

So I switched my TV on to Animax to find that they were airing Ansatsu Kyoushitsu. And right at the scene where Korosensei was calling everyone's name for the last roll call before Nagisa killed him. ;-;

The feels came back.

And I was singing Tabidachi no Uta along when the feels hit me.

Nagisa's POV

"Everyone, may I have your attention?" I started in a loud voice, causing everyone to pay attention.

"Alright, let's see here..."

I spoke, "As you all know, we will be having the cultural festival in a few weeks."

After a moment of excitement, Yamaguchi-kun continued me. "Does anyone here have any suggestions on what we should do?"

"Wow, is it almost November already?

"We should do a haunted house!"

"That's too mainstream!"

"What about a play?"

"We suck at acting..."

"A group date cafe!!"

"What the hell even is that?"

At the mention of "cafe", I saw Chiyuki-chan's eyes shining in the corner of my eye.

"Shiraishi-san, what are your thoughts?" Yamaguchi-kun noticed her and asked.

Chiyuki-chan suddenly became flustered and started stuttering. "E-eh!? Um..."

She started fidgeting her fingers as she quietly said, "A-a cafe..."

"Pardon?" I questioned.

"I-I think we should do a cafe!" She shouted. "But... not an ordinary cafe..."

"What kind of cafe?" I further asked.

Chiyuki-chan clenched her hands and stood up, making her chair move back and make some noises.

"A cosplay cafe!!"

"Whoa, a cosplay cafe!?"

"That sounds awesome!"

"I don't think anyone did a cosplay cafe last year...!"

Yamaguchi-kun interrupted the excitement with a shout, "Alright! We'll be voting through paper, don't get too ahead of yourselves..."

After we distributed the small pieces of papers, I wrote the number of votes on the blackboard.

After calculating, we got the final results.

"Cosplay cafe won with 16 votes." Yamaguchi-kun announced to the class.

I underlined "cosplay cafe" on the board, making everyone cheer with delight.

"Way to go, Yuki-chan!" I heard Arisa-chan.

Chiyuki-chan returned a smile to her and Sasahara-kun.

Amongst all the cheering, Yamaguchi-kun let out a sigh. "A cosplay cafe, huh? This is gonna be troubling..."

I looked at the blonde with a smile, "Well, at least it'll be fun, right? We get to do something like this with everyone in the class."

He turned his head to me and replied, "I guess so."
