Third Person View"And that concludes our meeting for today," Kazuhito, the student council president, spoke out loud. "And don't forget that starting tomorrow, we'll switch to our winter uniforms. Make sure everyone remembers!"
"Okaay!" Everyone replied at the same time.
Everyone got up, relieved that they can finally go home. Nagisa stood up and opened her bag, reaching for a scarf that Karma had given her quite some time ago.
"That Kazuhito-kun, always so chatismatic," The girl beside her spoke. "Don't you think so, Nagisa-chan?"
Nagisa let out a small laugh. "I guess that's one of the reasons Hayabusa-senpai recommended him, right, Fujinaga-senpai?"
Fujinaga flipped her tied blonde hair back with a scoff. "I guess. But still, he's so different when he's speaking up like that... Anyway, see you tomorrow, Nagisa-chan. Good luck with student council stuff!" She gave her underclassman a smile as she waved.
After returning the wave, Nagisa wrapped her scarf around her neck. Noticing Yamaguchi still packing up, she decided to strike up a conversation.
"Hey, Yamaguchi-kun," She said. "Doesn't it strike you by surprise when Kazuhito-senpai mentioned there was a cigarette butt found in the boys' bathroom?"
The blonde eyed her for a moment as she spoke. "Not really, sadly a lot of kids our age smoke. But what I'm wondering is why they're dumb enough to smoke in a school's bathroom, let alone leave evidence of it."
Nagisa thought about his words. Smoking, huh? She was never, ever one for smoking, and she'd probably smack Karma in the head if he ever thought about doing it.
She remembers that her dad used to smoke a lot, especially around the time just before he divorced with Hiromi. But fortunately, he's been cutting down on the smoking, and decided to move on to more useful things in life.
"I guess you're right... Oh, by the way, you should definitely be more wary of your surroundings... Kazuhito-senpai did sort of ask all of us to look out for the culprit," The bluenette told him.
"You got it." His cheeks turned slightly pink as he looked away. "And... you should be careful, too."
Nagisa turned to look at him. "Sure." She gave him a smile.
Yamaguchi turned his head back and exchanged glances with her. "Ahh, damn it. Even though I decided to still be friends with her, I can't help feeling a bit awkward..."
For some reason, Yamaguchi just realized that they were the only ones in the room left. He was already done packing up, but he slowed down his actions a bit to disguise the fact that he's waiting for her. Of course, Nagisa noticed this, but in the end decided to keep quiet about it.
"Oh, one more thing." Nagisa started to walk out of the student council room and into the hallway. "Do you notice anything about Iyo-chan recently?"
The taller boy walked beside her. "Iyo?" He thought about why she had a sudden interest in his little sister. "Well, she has been weird lately..."
"Sometimes she screams herself into her pillow at night, and it really interrupts with my sleep," He started. "And it doesn't help with the fact that our beds are right next to each other's, along with the annoying non-soundproof wall..."
Nagisa sweat dropped. "O-oh, really?"
"Oh, and," He continued. "Yesterday I found 'what to do after being confessed to' in a search bar on our computer."
Nagisa leaned forward with wide eyes and looked at him. "Really? Hm..." She paused. "Has Iyo-chan never been confessed to? I thought she would have tons of guys after her."
