The party went on great. I had a lot of fun. And of course I didn't behave like someone who just came from the hospital. It's not like I can help it anyway. There's just so much energie to be used.

When I went into my bedroom that night, I couldn't believe my eyes.

The gifts I saw in the hospital were nothing compared to what I found in my room.

I know the doctor said 'rest', but how can I when there are so many fun things to do.

I promised myself to sleep through the next day to catch up, because I just had to read my notes.

Me, Chris and Megan break dawn together reading the notes. We ended up falling in sleep in a pool of cards and notes on the floor.

Cordelia wakes us up when she brings breakfast and we just continue reading and unwrapping gifts.

"Who's Blair Straus?" I ask, looking at the cute green card.

"It's that girl. She has dangerously pink hair and cat eyes" Megan describes... Or tries to describe.

I remember her from the first day of school.

"And who's Thay Brook?"

"Ms Paparazzi. The one who secretly kept taking pictures of you" Chris answers.

It seem like I've been in some sort of contact with everyone in college, but I only remember them by the nicknames I gave them or not at all.

"I never knew so many people cared. Never knew I even remotely inspired and motivated people like this. I always thought they all hated me, because of my sarcasm and my attitude"

"Not everyone sees it like that. These... manners of yours only show themselves when you're in defense mood. Which is always. But they see it as sticking up for yourself and your friends. Tho sometimes you are just super mean for no reason" Chris explains.

"I feel so bad that I won't be able to use most of these gifts. Did you guys see the painting Crystal made me?"

"Who's that?"

"It's that little girl. She mute and she's deaf in one ear. Remember the charity home that burned down four years ago?"

"Yeah I remember that incident" "yeah I remember"

"She was in that group. She always smiled at me when she was here, but the woman taking care of them said no one had ever seen her smile before. She came knocking to my door every night signing that she couldn't sleep. She's extremely talented when it comes to drawing and painting. She made a painting of me and her together on a bridge. Her note says she finished it in one day. It's actually a masterpiece"

I show them the painting Crystal made me. That girl is really special.

When their home burned down, we allowed them to stay in our homes. Some in my mom's and some in Chris's. They stayed until they had a new place to go.

"You got so many perfumes, charm bracelets and coffee mugs. Can I have some" asks Megan.

"I'll buy you other ones if you like, but these are priceless. Besides the mugs all have my name on them"
