"What does yours say?" We say in sync.

"Uhh, you first" he says smiling.

"It's from my dad's company. They want me to show up next Monday to discuss something important. What about yours?"

"Exactly the same thing. Just that mine's about my dad's company. I'm supposed to be in on Monday too"

"Is it just me or is this kinda strange? Cause as far as I know... "

"It does seem a little strange, but yeah" he shrugs.

My ringtone stops me from saying anything else to Chris.

Megan's smiling face appears on the screen.

"Hey Meg" I say when I pick up.

"Chan! You will never believe what happened!" She says dramatically. "I'm coming over right now, cause we need to talk about something very serious!"

"Okay.. about what actually?" I ask.

"I can't talk about it on the phone. Open your front door for me will ya"

"Seriously you're right here and your calling me?" I ask rolling my eyes. "Anyway. Wait I'm coming"

"Girl this thing I gotta tell you is so big, I had to get the intro out of the way before I saw you" she says.

"Yeah, yeah" I say and open the door as I hang up.

"This was the worst morning ever! I swear! You'll never guess what the hell happened" she says stepping into the house.

"Tell me about it" I smile walking back to the couch.

"Last night I went home with my date for the party and..."

"You were here with a date ?" I ask surprised. She's never dated anyone before.

"Yeah, what? I grew some balls okay. We've been dating since last year December"

"Let me guess. This morning he saw those balls you grew and got scared?" Chris teases her.

"Fuck off Chris! I'm not talking to you. Anyway. I thought okay, maybe it's time to let someone pop my cherry. You know..."

"You've been dating someone all this while and you didn't bother to tell me? Who is it?!" I shout.

"Yeah, I wanted to wait and see if it was going in the right direction before I told anyone. And just when I wanted to tell you, you turned into sleeping beauty scaring the shit out of me"

"I'm gonna go to my room so you guys can talk, cause I can't with all this girl drama" Chris says and walks toward his room.

"Okay okay. Well... who is it?" I ask, being the nosey me I am.

"It's Jay-sean" she says blushing.

"The cute ass guy from your Chemistry class?" I ask excitedly.

She nods.

"Aah!! I knew it!... Actually I didn't, but remember I caught you drooling over him last year in the cafeteria a couple of times?"

"Yeah yeah whatever. He's so charming and more beautiful on the inside than on the outside" she says sighing and blushing. She looks so happy. She deserves to be happy.

"Aaw.  That's so cute. I want a boyfriend too" I pout.

Mrs savage returns and she says "Bitch please! Now let me continue"
