When I woke up this morning I felt so lost and abandoned. I took a long bath and went to the office. Brianna had the papers on my desk just like I requested and my uncle came in to help me with a few other stuff that had to be taken care of. There was a little problem with some hair dryers that were exported to the Caribbean last week, but it's all taken care of.

Right now I'm on my bed with a bowl of frozen yogurt, watching 'Fruitvale station'. It's such a beautiful movie and it's not helping me to calm my emotions down.

A knock on the door causes me to groan and pause the movie. "Yes?"

"I'm sorry to disturb you ma'am, but Christian is waiting for you in the living room" the person says without opening the door.

When did he come back?
And why didn't he just come right up?

"I'll be right with him" I say.

I get up and go down the stairs. I didn't even see the person who spoke to me.

When I get into the living room it's empty. I walk into the kitchen, but no sign of Chris.

"Hey" I say to one of the girls who was just walking by. "Where's Chris?"

"I haven't seen him all day ma'am" she answers and I nod and walk towards his room. He should be there I thought, but when I got there he wasn't there either.

The person who disturbed me saying Chris was here is going to be sorry she ever thought of a prank like this. I just wasted so much energy walking up and down these stairs and around this gigantic house to look for Chris.

Maybe I should call Chris first and ask if he was here at all. My phone's in my room so I head there to get it.

When I open the door and take in the scene in front of me my mouth hangs open.

"Will you be my Valentine Yelle?" Chris asks holding a box of my favorite chocolate, two whine glasses and a bottle of red whine in his hands. He looks as great as ever.

There's a giant Teddy Bear on my bed. It's twice my size. I always wanted one of these, but I didn't want to get it myself. What am I going to do without this man. He spoils me too much.

"Oh my God! Yes!" I say when I finally find my voice again. I'd be even more than that.

He puts the things he had in his hands down and hugs me tightly.

"Is this for me?" I ask looking at the bear after he lets go of me.

"I actually have a sarcastic answer to that, but I'll just be nice and say, yes it's yours" he replies.

"That's also sarcastic, but thank you. I love it" I chuckle.

"I'm glad you do. Do you have plans for tonight? Cause I'd like to take you to the annual Valentine ball as my date"

"No, I don't have plans and what ball?"

"A Valentine's ball. No date, no entry. It's gonna be fun. Or we could do something else if you want. That's okay too" he stutters.

"Chris the ball sounds great. I don't think I have anything to wear though" I smile.

"I thought you might say that. So I picked something nice for you. I hope you'll like it"

"Can you stop being so nervous. It's just me, remember? You're freaking me out" when I notice that he's still a little nervous.

"I'm sorry. I don't know what's wrong with me. I've been a nervous wreck since I woke up" he confesses.
