I don't know anymore. Maybe I'm just an ass for feeling like he's lying to her. She looks at me with the question of what she should do in her eyes, but I don't give anything away. I keep my face as straight as possible.

"Megan please look at me. I mean what I'm saying. I'm scared of losing you. What do I have to do? Kneel for you?" He asks actually getting on his knees for her.

Megan glances at me once more. I spot a bit of panic in her eyes.
"No please don't?" She says trying to stop Jay-Sean from kneeling in front her. He doesn't stop though. He wraps his arms around her legs and promises not to let go until she forgives him and takes him back.

"Jay..." She starts hesitantly but he cuts her off.

"No Megan. Please. I'll do anything"

"I can not be your secret Jay-Sean"

"Please bear with me until I get this all fixed. I'll transfer everything that's mine onto my name, so they won't be able to interfere anymore. It'll all be fine. I just need some time baby"

"How long?" Megan asks but he doesn't have an answer. He promises her that he'll take care of things as soon as possible.

Megan finally gives in and he jumps up to hug her. He spins her around and starts kissing her all over her face. It's such a beautiful sight.

Our car stops next to us.
"Ma'am it's cold out there and I don't want to get fired for letting you catch a cold" Pablo says.

"Just a sec Pablo" I say.

After Megan and Jay-Sean talk for a few more minutes, it's time to go. She steps into the car with a smile on her face. I seriously thought she'd go with him since they made up, but I guess I was wrong.

I'm the last to get in the car.
Right before I sit down, I step back out and walk towards Jay-Sean with my fakest smile. I don't know. Maybe he thought I was walking toward him to have a friendly chat after he made my friend experience Hell yesterday. He didn't notice what I was up to until my knee painfully connected with his balls.

"What the fuck!" He shouts holding onto his balls as he drops to the floor.

"That's for every single tear she shed because of you" I hiss through my teeth and step into the car.

It's a surprise that Megan didn't jump out of the car to save him.
As a matter of fact she was smiling when I got in.

"He deserved that." She says bluntly chewing on a chicken nugget.

"I was expecting you to defend him" I say truthfully as the car starts moving.

"Words hurt more than a kick in the balls and he didn't defend me when I was being hit by a whole Oxford Advanced Learner's dictionary coming from his family." She shrugs.

"Did you even forgive him?" Selena asks. "For whatever he did. Cause I don't really get it"

"I don't know. I'm still trying to figure that out. My heart has, but my mind is just a bitch" Megan answers staring at nothing in particular.

"Don't tell him you forgave him if you haven't Meg" I sigh. "By the way. Where in heaven's name did you get those nuggets from?"

"I swear Pablo is so nice. I forgot them so he went back to get them for me" Megan answers putting another piece of nugget into her mouth.

"Really Pablo?" I ask and shake my head. He chuckles and doesn't answer. "Selena you were going to tell me something right?" I ask remembering that she was about to.

"Oh yeah... it can wait. Can you please take me home? I'm not feeling so well" she says and I notice that she does look pale. Very pale. What's with her?

"Okay. Umm sure... Luke. To Selena's please" I say.

"Yes ma'am"

When we get there Selena jumps out of the car and practically runs into her house without looking back. That's weird.

"What's with her? She's acting kinda weird" Megan says as the car starts driving again.

"I don't know. I guess I'm not the only one who noticed her weird behaviour" I say with frown.
