*Chapter Thirteen*

(*‘-‘*) Annie's POV:

                “Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!” Quest let out a high-pitched girly shriek. I covered my ears hard to avoid them from bursting. Man, I should have told her this on the phone. Now she’s all overjoyed and noisy. Why did I even bother?

                We were inside the locker room and thank goodness no one else is here right now. Quest could literally tear any students’ eardrums apart with that screech. A sigh went out of my mouth that was later on followed by a burst of giggles.

                “Quest, pipe down. I can’t survive with that shriek of yours. It’s still the middle of the week for lemon’s sake.” I said between giggles. My eyes were already tearing up. Quest can be like my mom at times. Childish and annoying but still the best nonetheless.

                “Say it again, Annie! Say it again!” She jumped up and down from excitement, completely ignoring my statement. I rolled my eyes teasingly at her and repeated what I just said before. But of course, I didn’t forget to cover my ears.

                “We’re going to have lunch from now on with Raven, Marzia and your Vincent.” I watched her as she opened her mouth again and…

                “Ahhhhhhhhhhhh!!!” She jumped up and down higher than before. Her eyes were close from smiling so wide. She was just so happy. “Pinch me, Annie. I must be dreaming!” She spoke out giddily. I pinched her arm because it was the most painful spot to pinch.

                “Oww!” She rubbed her arm to make the pain disappear.

                “What?” I smiled innocently. “You asked for it.”

                She looked at me angrily and I looked back at her the same way. Suddenly, we both fell into a fit of laughter. Sweet lemons! I can’t wait for lunch!

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
                Quest and I made our way together towards the cafeteria. Raven and the gang were already there waiting for us. They were able to reserve a seat that was enough for five people. On my side, Quest was still laughing but this time it wasn’t about the fact that we were going to have lunch with them but it was about my date last night. She was cracking up, saying that we were just too good to be true.
                “Aww… I wish Vince would do that for me too.” She said when she finished her laughing fit. I sighed out without her knowing. I hope he does. He has to. I’m going to squeeze the life juice out of him if he doesn’t treat my Quest like a princess. And perhaps I’ll sell the lemon juice to cannibals. That would profit me for sure!
                “I’m sure, Vincent would do that.” I smiled at her. She responded with a raised brow.
                “Annie, tell me honestly. Is there something going on between you and Vince?” She suddenly asked. Her question totally took me off guard. What’s going on in her mind between that lemon and I?
                “No. Why did you ask?” I raised my brow as well.
                “Nothing. Just that, you do realize that you’re the only person in this batch that still calls him by his full first name. Do you hate him or something?” Wow. I must give it Quest. She can be fast to analyze situations. Yes, my lovely Quest. Yes, I hate him!
                “No. I just call him Vincent that’s all.” I shrugged hoping she’ll drop the topic. Oh oh. I’m becoming like him. A shrugging lemon. Except for the lemon part that is.
