Niall:

I walked toward Sarah's front porch nervously running a hand through my blonde hair. Would her mom be home? Last time i did this her dad got all in my face. Apparently he was jsut pretending but i still felt sick to my stomach. The light for the porch was already on. I was expected. I stepped up to the door my hand wavering as i was about to knock. Alright. Let's do this. I told myself. Suddenly the door opened and Sarah popped her head out. "Shh. They're going to make a fuss." she whispered.

"Uuhh. Ok." i replied slowly.

"Shhh. just walk back slowly and.." she was cut off.

"Sarah what the hell are you doing!" Victoria shouted. I heard booming laughter probably Sarah's dad. Sarah got a scared look on her face then it sounded like she was being dragged away.

"No no! Come on you guys. Be normal for once." she shouted. Victoria laughed. I didn't know if i should open the door all the way or just stay where i was. The door opened before i had a chance to decide what to do.

"Hello Niall." said Mr. Collins.

"Hello Mr. Collins." i said putting my hands behind my back.

"Is Sarah alright?" i asked lightly. Mr. Collins laughed.

"Yeah she's ok. Victoria just likes to make an entrance." just then there was a pounding of feet and Victoria flew in behind Mr. Collins.

"It's all about the presentation." she said brightly smiling happily. Mr. Collins stepped aside and Victoria stepped forward grabbing my arm. "Come on." she said excitedly dragging me through the door. Mr. Collins snickered as it closed.

"Can i come down now?" Sarah asked.

"Not yet! he's not in position." Victoria said placing me directly in front of the stairs just a few feet from the landing. I heard Sarah groan from the top of the stars. I tried not to laugh at her distress. Victoria pushed back my hair though i'm pretty sure it was as far as it could go back. She smoothed down my jacket and murmured something like, "No tie." i looked down at myself. I was wearing black pants though i had kept my sneakers on and a white shirt with a black jacket. I didn't think i needed a tie. "Sneakers?" Victoria asked looking at me a bit disgusted.

"What? They're my nicest ones." i said she rolled her eyes like that didn't make a difference.

"Oh well." she murmured folding my hands in front of me. I had been fidgeting the whole time she had been fixing things.

"How about now?" Sarah called down.

"Hold on!" Victoria said straightening up and beaming at me.

"He looks good! You're lucky." Victoria said nudging me. I turned slightly pink.

"Don't worry she looks amazing. Really just.. Wow." Victoria said reassuringly not that i didn't doubt that.

"Stop talking about me. Is it time?" Sarah asked again. Mr. Collins was leaning against the banister of the stairs chuckling.

"Yes! We're ready." Victoria called up. Sarah sighed in relief and appeared on the stairs. Sarah jumped down two.

"Hey! No. like i told you." Victoria said waggling her finger at Sarah.

"I feel dumb." Sarah said not looking at me. She looked great though. Her hair looked shorter because it was curled. It bounced as she walked. She was wearing a beautiful dress and a jacket over that.

"You look amazing." i said holding out my hand as she stepped down the final step. She took my hand.

"Thanks." she said with a roll of her eyes. She made a face at Victoria who made one back. She wrapped one arm around my waist. "Ok we're going!" she said quickly pushing me towards the door. Sarah was pulled away from me and Victoria grabbed my arm with her other hand.
