You and Calum only just started dating so you two were still really getting in to know each other when he asks you "what happened between you and your ex boyfriend!" This caught you by surprise as you couldn't picture yourself talking about your ex boyfriend to your current boyfriend.
"That's such a weird question but I'm going to be totally honest with you. His friends got him into drugs. I didn't like it so we stopped dating. I didn't like the idea of drugs being in my house, it was disgusting. He did it everyday and he'd lie about going to his parents and actually go to his friends to get high." Calum looks at you obviously surprised with how open you are towards him.
"That's crazy, I can't believe that he lied to you, how long did this go on for?" He says, knowing that it was a bit of a sensitive subject.
"A year and 4 months" He looks at you with sadness in his face.
"Fuck it, I wish I'd have found you earlier." He says, forcing a smile upon your scared lips.
