Chapter 13 - This is just Great

Jason....

I move backward hitting the wall. I feel my tail tuck between my legs. My ears lower. "I-I-" I Sutter. His ears perk up. I do the same. I don't hear anything. "They're coming." I hear him whisper to himself.

He grabs my wrist and jumps. But boy was it a high jump. Higher then the houses there. He hovers a bit and then jumps to a roof of one of the houses. I feared that I was going to fall but I'm hovering just like he was. He pulls me as he landed on one of the roofs. He runs still holding my wrist. As we got close to the edge he jumped down without hesitation. "What the hell are you doing!" I yell. He looks at me and grips my wrist harder. "They're coming."

"Who's comi-" "Duck!" He yells I turn around and duck. He takes out a sword. Cutting straight through another one of those blobs. He pulls the sword back with a corrupted heart.

He gets it out quick and crushes it. He looks down. "We're almost there!" He yells. He pulls out a ball. A Dream ball. He smashes before entering. I look up as we fall into the portal. It was closing up.

I get up so does he. He let go of my wrist. I notice something about he had a hoodie on. He takes it off slowly. He looks at me with pitiful eyes. "I-I-I'm sorry." He says scratching his head. "You better be! You made me jump off a roof! I could've died!" I yell at him. "Like I said I'm sorry." I give him an inpatient look.

"You want an explanation don't you." I continue glaring at him. "Ok.....so...um-" "Miss Y/N!" I look at the voice behind me. It was Dream.

"Hi Dream." I say a bit pissed off. "What's wrong?" He asked. "Everything! Ever since I became this thing my life turned like shit! I didn't want this!" I shout. I am really pissed. I did my best holding it in all those days now I couldn't. I look at Jason. He gets up and gives me a death glare. "What do you know?" He says slowly. I stare at him.

"You don't know how it is to have a shitty life." He says. "What can be worst then this!" I yell at him while getting closer to him. He was taken back by this. "You guys please sto-" "Stay out of this!" Yelled Jason. He gets closer to me. "What can be worst then this?" He gets my shirt and pulls me up. "At least you have a family, at least you have people that love you! At least your parents didn't abandon you! Did you think I asked it to be this way!" He said letting go I look at him. His eyes were watery. He turns around and walks away. "Jason come back! I'm sorry!"

"And you guys didn't listen to me." Grunted Dream. "Dream do you know where I ca-" I was cut off. "Here." He says opening a portal with his staff. I go close. "He normally comes here when he's upset."

"Thanks Dream." I say. "Rose can you stay here please?" "Sure." She purred. I look back and jump in. As I fall the portal closed. I look around it looked really pretty like space and glitches. I notice I was floating down. I float down until I've reached a white block.

I stand there and look around. There was no one here. I hear something behind me. I look back it was Jason. He was appearing from a portal. His back was facing me. "Jason..." I whisper to myself. "I can hear you!" He yelled while turning around. "Jason I'm sorry! Please forgive me!" I shout. I see him walk pass me. *sigh* "It's fine. It's just that I got really...I don't know...pretty frustrated." He said sitting at the edge of the block. I walk slowly up to him and sit next to him. It was really quite for a while.

"They left me when I was six." He said breaking the silence. My ears perk up. "I'm sorry what did you say?" I say. "My parents left me about when I was six when I started showing signs about being a Nekojin." He said looking at the edge. I didn't know what to say. "They left me in that old decaying home. I remember staying locked in the house in the day and looking around for food in the night. Like a raccoon." He said with a small laugh at the end. "I made a friend a few days later. Her name was Jupiter. She was my best friend. Until one day some one took her away from me. I saw her die in front of me. She was so innocent and adorable...." He said a bit shakily. "I don't have many memories of her. But two years after that Ink found me."

"He cared for you." I say softly. "Yeah.....anyways when Ink found me he taught how to fight, how to use magic, and such. But I remember one day he gave me a locket with a book. He told me to never let the book out of my sight and that I'm not supposed to open the locket. Till this day I don't know the purpose if the locket only the book." He finished.

He sighed and got up with a stretch. "I feel better now talking about it." I look back and get up. "I'm sorry." I say. "For what?" He says putting his hand in his pocket of his pants. "For everything that happened." "You shouldn't be sorry it's not your fault that everything happened to me." He said pulling a Dream ball. "Let's go." He said as a portal started opening up. He jumped in as I followed.

"Hey you two!" Yelled Dream. I look behind us and see Dream running. "Hey Dream." "Jason I need to talk to you." Said Dream. "Ok just let take Y/N home." He said. Dream gave a nod. Dream snapped his fingers turning the warm atmosphere, dark.

Luckily we got to my place safe. "Do you want anything?" I ask. As I shut the door behind me. "Na I'm ok but thanks for the offer." He said.

"Wait I forgot about Rose!"

"Na she'll be fine. She's probably with Collide." He said. I nod a thank you. We say our goodbyes and he leaves.

I head to my room as I feel something off. I close the door behind me and head to my bed. I lie down on my bed while on my phone. "Hello there. It's been a while."
