If you love someone else, don't tell me
If you're thinking of another, let it be
When you smile, I feel like the world just gets brighter
Your laugh makes the dark seem ten times lighter
But tell me she doesn't see you in the same way I do,
That you smirk and tease her and nickname her too
If you love someone else, don't say so
When the time is right, I will know
For now, just love me the way you always did
And let's go back in time to when we were just kids
We'll pretend we're happy, when all we do is fight
We'll forget all the problems and pretend everything's right
Soon time will tell and I'll finally see,
But for now, I'm your only and don't tell me.
