He took away that girl I'd always known,
My forever friend, away in the wind she's blown
He walked into her life and changed her words and ways,
Brainwashed her every thought and the new girl took her place
He morphed her into a new personality, one I couldn't recognize,
He's changed so much as her mindset, with all the meticulous lies
He stole the glimmer from her eyes when in bliss, and darkened her radiant shades,
He captured a heart he didn't deserve and now her colours have frayed
Now she's a new girl I'd have to begin to know,
I'll have to decide further whether she's a friend or foe
Every time we talk now, it always ends up in fights,
But I hope that one day he'll return her and a new friendship can ignite.
