How Much You Mean to Me

Did I say something, did I do something wrong?
Do you ever get this feeling, when their glaring at you all along?
I was caught up helping another, another friend in need,
But she mistook me for backstabbing, thought I was filled with greed
She thought I'd run away from her, rather than falling at her feet,
She thought I was betraying her, escaping her friendship  and reserving another seat
She thought I'd found another friend, and I'd let her fall behind,
She thought I didn't care enough of her beautiful ways, the fact that she was simple and kind
The facts speak for themselves and I adore her on end, yet she doesn't know how deep that loving bides,
She doesn't know just how much she means to me, I love all her quirky sides
The best part is that she truly knows me well enough, to know to who this message was for,
As odd as she knew how my  secretive ways were, there were no more details required to pour
In simple words this girl changed my life, and I hoped she'd truly see,
How perfect things are as long as she's involved and just how much she means to me.

I  didn't mess up.
I was misunderstood.
I don't know if I'm to blame.

Have you ever been in a situation when you didn't actually do anything, but another important person in your life thinks you've done something? It isn't entirely their fault, nor is it yours, but they came to the conclusion before consulting you first. This complicated the whole situation into making you the bad guy and there's no point justifying because you know they won't believe you! If you've ever been in this kind of situation and can relate, comment!
