Put away my heavy heart and replaced it with a whole
I'm back on my feet, as steady as ever, never letting you get ahold,
Once again of the past girl you left behind with a heart so menacingly cold
Looking back at the torn up pieces of our memories, tears streaming back down again,
I know that I can't let you out forever, I can't let this be how it ends
It was you who broke me piece by piece, it was this moment I was afraid of,
But it was you who kept me in high spirits the longest, it was you who taught me what was love.
