I hope they don't see it
I hope they don't judge
I hope they don't underestimate
And pull me down too much
I hope it wasn't too shocking,
I hope they weren't taken aback
I hope they don't see right through me,
To discover the strength I lack
I hope they don't notice I'm vulnerable,
That they can break me part by part
I hope they don't see how fragile I am,
That it'd take just one blow at my heart
I hope they don't start talking,
They'd change their opinion of me
I hope that I can still hide that side,
With a brave demeanor I'll conceal
I hope they don't catch even a glimpse,
I hope they don't notice the real me,
I hope they don't take even a look at the forbidden,
They'll never see my vulnerability.
