Secrets

Sometimes you know, sometimes you don't,

Sometimes they'll tell you and sometimes they won't 

It takes time for trust to build, and more to maintain, 

It takes courage in order to keep and the longer you'll stay sane

Getting to know a secret is like breaking into a bank vault, 

Spilling one is like running away, it all being your fault

You're forever held responsible for the secrets, you're left to take charge,

They're left under your control no matter how small or large

If they escape, you're left to track them down and hunt the ones who let it spill,

If you want to still be on the trustworthy team and have your daily gossip fill.

The worst ever possible sin is to break a promise or spill a secret. The worst ever feeling is when you break someone's trust. Sometimes all you ever want to do is to see another person's reaction to a major deep secret. You think 'Hey it's just one person.' But maybe the person whom the secret belongs to is not comfortable with a third person knowing..Maybe all they want to do is have someone to talk to and they chose you, but you were the one who spilled their secret? When you've been trusted, know that it is an honour because there are so many who'd kill to be you and others get hurt by the fact that it wasn't them who was trusted. Never, ever break that trust because trust is a key to any strong relationship.
