Will you still love me?

The older I become, the wiser I'll be,
But will you still love me just for me?
As the days pass by, I'll be a different girl,
With new ways and thoughts, I'll tackle the world

But one question that repeats itself over and over in my head,
Will you still love me, after all the things I've said?

Continuously the years grow longer and longer,
And I change with them, I'm becoming stronger
But will I seem different, at least to you,
Or will our love forever,  remain true?

As Fall passes into winter and winter to spring,
I see myself overthinking the smallest of things
As the years pass by, I'll be a different girl,
And my notions and actions will change the world

But will you still think of me the way you always do,
Or will I be a stranger, you'd have no clue?
Will I seem like a girl you've never met before,
Will we still be dancing while the sky's tears pour?

Will we still be watching, the sunset blissfully,
Or with the sunset will times change, wistfully
As the days pass by, will you see me in a different light,
Or together for our love we'll forever fight?

Will you still love me, as we count the passing years,
Will you still listen to me, brushing away my tears
As the days grow longer, we witness the change in the world,
But will you still love me, if I'm not the same girl?

Do you ever go through a time in your life when you know you're changing and you think it's for the better, but you're scared no one else will? It's those times you're contemplating whether change was actually a good thing.
Some believe in the acceptance of change. Others believe old is gold.

For the moment, forget what everyone else has to say. If you want to change, you have the right to. If people don't learn to love you for who you are, then they're not worth being in your life.
