Everyone tends to judge based on common perfection goals,
Beauty, brains or talent, not the kindest hearts or souls
It has to be that one teacher's pet who always scores the best,
Or that popular girl with fabulous hair whose prettier than the rest
If one lacks the golden three and is beautiful in their own way,
Chances are that the world will criticize, they'll know just who to blame
Sometimes I wish people would focus on my strengths, rather than throwing me down,
I wish that I could prove myself worthy with the power inside of me I've found
Maybe I'm not perfect the way the world seems to be,
And maybe what I lack is the ultimate golden three
But I wish you'd see me different from what everyone else sees,
I wish you'd think I was beautiful, and notice me for me.
