Grasp the needle, and pull the thread right through,
Hold on, stay strong and you'll make it out soon
Needle in and out through the carefully knitted pieces,
Creating stitches through the fabric, through the neatly pressed creases
Don't look back, don't think, till you've made amends,
Don't forget the most valuable, don't pretend it's the end
Heart-felt begs of forgiveness are the cures to mending hearts,
To mending what was once perfect, to creating a fresh start
It's never too late to speak up, to brings your words from deep within,
It's never too late to forgive, to forget the past sins
Every road has its bumps, every rainbow comes with rain,
Every friendship comes with battles and all the laughter comes with pain
The road to forgiveness takes time, and an open mind to see,
That it's never too late to make amends, don't let the stitches come free.

Ever felt that it's just too late to pick yourself back up and finish what you started? Ever felt that sometimes things just need to come to an end because there's no use even trying anymore? Maybe sometimes all you need is to hold on to the memories. Maybe someday you can finish what you started, just by uttering two words. Life isn't always about just dusting yourself off and starting all over again. Life is also about reuniting with your past and forever holding onto the few people who continue to make you smile even in your darkest times. One battle not won could cost you a friendship, but when the damage has already been done, the best choice is to make amends.
