I have two besties who adore me on end,
But the only problem is, they're no longer just friends
He laughs and teases her and asks her his riddles,
She laughs while hugging him, with me in the middle
Now I'm just the outcast, with their love for each other so strong,
And whenever I intervene, it always feels so wrong
It's like they were forever made together, they found the missing piece,
It's like this was destiny, but the credit all goes to me
Sometimes I wonder how it would've played out, if I wasn't there to be match maker,
I wonder if they'd still be happy together, or if it would've ended a heartbreaker
It's not so bad being the forgotten third wheel,
Because you know you're to thank for, for this love story so real
It might hurt sometimes, knowing that they are always together,
That they might sometimes leave you, that they won't be around forever
But at the end of the day, you still care how they feel
And if it made them happy,
You'll be the third wheel.
