The next day of school rushed by quickly, and soon it was 4 o clock. I wanted to surprise Farkle, since he went out of his way to ask me to be his girlfriend. I just didn't know what to get him, so of course, I decided to call Maya.

"Hey! What's up buttercup?"

"Someone give me the real Maya." I joked, taking notice of her cheerfulness.

"Lucas just told me that he's gonna be here sooner than I think!" She squealed, and I smiled at the thought of him. We didn't get along all the time, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't miss huckleberry. "Maya, I'm so happy for you! When did he call?"

"A few hours ago," she breathed. "So what's up with you?"

I looked around the gift shop and sighed. "I don't know what to get Farkle."

"Is it his birthday or something?

"No-o, but he got me flowers and chocolates, and a promise ring!"

"Aw riles, that's great! So you two are a-"

"Yep! A thing!"

Maya squealed even more. "I'll be right over, Where are you?"

"The gift shop by topanga's, thanks peaches!"

"Riley, where are you leading me?" Farkle smiled nervously as I covered his eyes, taking him in the direction of the surprise I planned out

"Riley, where are you leading me?" Farkle smiled nervously as I covered his eyes, taking him in the direction of the surprise I planned out. What I'd done for him was over the top, yet simple, thanks to Maya's idea.

"Don't worry, we're almost there babe." I snickered to myself as he slightly tripped over a rock.
"Not funny!"

"Okay... Open your eyes!" I removed my hands from his eyes and let him take in the view in front of him. I took him somewhere I went to clear my head, a beautiful abandoned camping site where there was a huge grass area and a perfect view of the sky. When there, it seemed like nothing else existed, like you were the only one on planet earth. I was happy to share it with none other than my boyfriend.
"This is beautiful, Riles." He said in awe. With the help of my best friend, I'd set up a hammock on a huge oak tree, once covered with colorful leaves, but now bare, indicating that it was indeed, winter. Leaves were scattered along the white snow, and the Christmas lights wrapped around the tree made the sight even more beautiful .

"I know," I grinned, taking his hand in mine. "Check out the tent I set up."

I led him to the tent that sat on a large patch of pavement, where we laid out a heated blanket. It'd taken hours to set up, since it was winter, but it was worth it. Inside were candles, wine, food, and a letter, in which Farkle picked up. "Everything is so... Stunning," Farkle breathed. "How did you-"

"Just read the note inside."

"Farkle, I can't say that I didn't hate you when you broke up with me, but now that I know it wasn't your fault, I wanna make up wasted time with you. I love you, Riley."

"I love you too, I'll always love you."

I felt my cheeks get hot as he grabbed my waist, bringing me closer to him. His scent of mint grew stronger as his soft pink lips moved closer to mine.

"Wait!" I interrupted, dragging him out of the tent and jumping into the hammock. "Come on!" I teased. Farkle smirked, disappointed that I interrupted our kiss.
He jumped into the hammock and rolled over to face me, slamming his lips onto mine.
"You're so beautiful, you know that?"

I rolled over on my back, looking up at the star filled sky. "You're super handsome, you know that?"

"And you're super mine, you know that?"

"And I'm super happy that I am."
