Yerin closed the last folder that she had finished reviewing and signing before she laid back on her chair and sighed tiredly. She shut her eyes closed for a while and when she opened it, her eyes flew to the clock on her desk, discovering that it is already lunch time. She immediately grabbed her phone and dialed a number.

"Yoboseyo?", the other line answered after a few rings.

She smiled hearing Jonghyun's voice. "Hey it's already lunch. Are you busy?"

"Quite busy.", he simply answered.

"Uhh..", Yerin fiddled her fingers. "As in really busy? Can we just have lunch together for a while?"

Jonghyun got silent for seconds then sighed. "I'm really busy. Sorry."

Yerin bit her lip. "Uh i-it's okay, I understand. Let's eat together some other time."

"Yeah.", another plain reply from him.

There was a long silence but the call was still on. She sensed that he might end the call already so she spoke. "Uhm... How about later, are you coming?"

Another long moment of silence before Yerin heard another sigh from the other line. "Maybe no. I'll come next time."

Her shoulders dropped, as well as her mood when she heard his cold answer. "Okay. I understand. Just take care."

"Ne.", another short, lame response from him and the line went dead.

Yerin just threw her phone on her desk, making a loud thud sound that might cause her phone to shut down but she didn't bother. Her mood is just too dull right at that moment for her to care.

It has been a week since they fought because of her pending overseas project. She already apologized and Jonghyun said that he's accepting the apology but it doesn't feel like it. For the whole week, Yerin just saw Jonghyun for like two times, and that's only because she visited him and the other is because Key dragged him to come to their office. He doesn't take time to visit her at home and stay there like he usually does before.

Worst is that he barely talks these past days. Yerin was the one who initiates conversation and all she gets from him is short and cold answer. It seems like he has forgotten to converse properly since their fight. She's getting worried and afraid about what might happen next but she's still holding on to him and to the hope that they'll be fine soon, like what they are before.

She was in the middle of consoling herself when the door half opened and her secretary, Soojin, peeked the half upper part of her body in and smiled brightly.

"Ma'am it's already lunch break. Aren't you going out?", she asked.

"I'll be out later. Do you need something?"

"I'm just going to remind you that you have a schedule right after lunch and Mr. Shin will be going to the venue to talk to you.", Soojin smiled wider and brighter which lighten up Yerin's mood for a bit. She praised herself for hiring her as her secretary.

Yerin forced to smile a bit. "Yeah, I got reminded. You can have your lunch now. Thank you."

Soojin nodded before she pulled out herself from the gap on the door and closed it. When everything got silent again, she felt her stomach grumble, reminding for it to be filled. She turned to Key's empty desk, since he went out earlier that morning for a meeting. She doesn't feel like eating because it was never good to eat alone but her stomach won't calm down so she just forced herself to stand up from her swivel chair and grabbed her bag and phone. Thinking of were would it be nice to eat, the idea of taking Soojin with her for lunch popped in her mind so she immediately walked out from her office, hoping to still find Soojin on her desk.
