Prologue- Part 2

Ruby's POV

"Better late than never I suppose." He says sitting back smugly.

"Harry by the way. Harry Styles." I stared down at the curly haired boy to shocked to even open my mouth. Talk about first impressions count. Yeah, he was hot but so obnoxious. 

"Are you going to sit down or are you just going to stand there staring at me." He smirks. I flung my seat out and threw my bag onto the floor and took a seat on the spongy chairs. 

"Got a temper now have we?" He spoke.

"You can't be serious, this has to be a joke?" I questioned. Jess wouldn't set me up with this arrogant boy, would she?

"I wish it was love, I wish it was." He muttered. I tried to ignore that comment as the waitress came over to take our orders, she was obviously undressing harry with her eyes as he was to her. I thought I was the one on the date with him. I laughed to myself as they both turned to look at me with disgust written across their faces.

"And what do you want" she muttered rudely.

"I'll have Carbonarra, penne pasta. Thanks." She wrote the order down and turned to Harry, again.

"Bitch." I muttered.

"Excuse me?" She screeched.

"Oh nothing babe, you're just totally eye fucking my date!" I smiled.

She scoffed, took Harry's order and walked off. "What the fuck?" Harry shouted. "I could have been fucking her later."

"Oh well I'm sorry to be spoiling your plans." I replied sarcastically. "Ruby by the way. Ruby Winters." I smirked. He leaned back in his chair with the same smirk as me as he spoke

"You're a feisty one, I like it." I scoffed in disgust. He laughed at my reaction, it was the most adorable sound I've ever heard. Remember Ruby he's cocky, arrogant and obnoxious. Urghhhhh. After some very awkward conversation and sarcastic, rude comments off Harry I managed to excuse myself to go to the bathroom. 

"But don't be long though babe." Harry winked and slapped my bum.

I stormed off shaking my head as I looked for the bathroom. I couldn't take this any longer, I could not sit there with that rude green eyed boy. I was going to kill Jess how could she set me up with Harry. He's nothing like me. Sweet! She said he was sweet, she has to be joking me. I'm going to have to have serious words with my 'best friend'.I looked around searching for anything for me to escape out of. 

Nothing.

I looked into the first cubicle.

Nothing.looked in the other one and a small frosted window was placed in the middle of the wall.

"Thank god!" I groan. I shut the toilet lid and climbed on top of it and unlatched the lock on the window and pushed it open. I think it's big enough for me to get out of. I chucked my bag out of the window first, no going back now. I jumped up to the window and squeezed myself out of it, good job I was forced to wear this tight piece of material or I would never of got out. It was a small jump down to the ground which I landed successfully. I started running down the street, not so easily in these heels. Once I was at the end of the street I rang Jess.

"JESS, PICK ME UP NOW!" I screeched.

"Ruby whats wrong?" She timidly asked.

"I can't believe you would do that to me. Just pick me up, i'll explain on the way." I huffed.
