Chapter 30

Harry's POV

She look absolutely beautiful, well she looks beautiful all the time. She looks beautiful with no make up and in sweats for god sake. She was sat on a small table in the corner with only two seats so I guessed we were really going to be alone. I stood up above the table just looking at her confused at what I should do. She looked at me with awkward eyes and looked to seat across from her as if to tell me to sit down, but I still stood there, frozen and unable to move with her captivating beauty. "Harry, are you ok?" she asks, I look up to her and she looks a little worried.

I quickly nod "Do you want to take a seat then?" she laughed a little. I snapped out of my trance and took a seat. 

"You look nice" She says, how can she still be so sweet to me after I left her for a week?

"No, you do" I tell her, it comes out a little more stern that I perhaps intended but she gives me a half smile when I look up to her.

"I hope we get a normal waiter today" she chuckles but I stay silent "sorry that was a bit inappropriate during the circumstances" she shrugs.

I still stay quiet, I can't find the words to express anything. It's quiet for a few minutes and we are both just looking over the menu when an older women comes over to take our order "Are you guys ready to order?" she says with a smile.

Ruby looks over to me to make sure I am and I nod slightly "Yes please, erm... can I get the Vendura risotto please and a glass of white wine to drink please" Ruby smiles at the older women, her smile is gleaming but her eyes look dull. I finally pull my eyes away from her as I realize both of the women are looking at me, I look up at the waitress,

"Can I get the Pollo Aglio please" I looked up at the women.

"And to drink?" She asked

I quickly scan the drinks menu forgetting to look "Oh yeah sorry, erm can I just get a beer please" deciding I'm not a fan of all the fancy cocktails.

"Of course love" the women smiles at me "By the way, sorry if you's think I'm being nosy but you's are a perfect couple" she smiles "keep a hold of her" the women tells me, nodding over to Ruby. I just nod back to the women not knowing what to say or do, or what is going to happen between me and Ruby.

We sit in silence with Ruby trying to make conversation here and there but me shutting her down until she speaks again, obviously at the end of her tether "Harry! I'm trying to make a fucking effort to talk to you and you just sit there saying nothing!" she takes a deep breath at the end of her sentence.

I sigh "I know Ruby, I can't find the words to fucking say anything" I look down at the table in shame.

"Well then just hear me out" she huffs.

I nod for her to carry on, terrified at what she is going to say "Ok, so I went to Ellie's one day when you were working late I think, and just went to see her" she pauses as the food order is being served to us, our drinks and food have arrived.

"Carry on please" I say. She nods while taking a few fork fulls of risotto while I just carry on eating my chicken.

"And when I knocked on the door, Zayn answered it. Zayn!" She exclaimed "And then Ellie comes out from behind him just in his jumper, so I guessed him and Ellie were busy so I told them I would leave them and left".

What the fuck, Zayn and Ellie? Who the fuck would have thought it. "So Zayn and Ellie" I rose my eyebrows.

Ruby shrugged "I guess so, but then Zayn kept shouting my name and he started running after me, god knows why. I didn't stop until he caught up with me and grabbed my arm".

That bastard, how dare he fucking run after and shout at my girl! "He grabbed you?" I rose my voice a little "How dare he!" I was beyond furious and I hadn't even heard the full fucking story yet.

"Harry calm down, there's more to tell you" she obviously tried to keep me calm, knowing the rest would fuck me up even more. "He then started saying he wanted to explain and I told him I didn't need an explanation because I was with you and you were all I needed" My eyes softened a little looking at her and how genuine she sounded.

"Were you jealous though?" I asked, needing to know the answer.

"No,I- I don't know? I wasn't jealous, I was just really, really confused" She stutters.

"Are you for real" I spit "You were jealous" my blood is now boiling.

"Harry!" She places her hands on top of mine which calms me a little "Listen to me, I'm not jealous, I wasn't. I only want, I only love you" I nodded to her in understanding "Anyways he was telling me how I needed to leave you and you weren't good enough for me and before I could process anything his lips were on mine, I tried to stop him but he wouldn't budge his lips until he wanted too, he eventually pulled away and asked me if I felt anything, of course I said no because I didn't at all!"

I was sweating I was that angry, I couldn't believe the nerve of him "Are you for fucking real Ruby? I can't believe the nerve of him!" She looked at down at the table and her food that had barley eaten as she was talking where as I have scoffed all of mine down. "Why didn't you fucking tell me" she looks at me as though she has no answer.

"I know, I should have Harry. I'm sorry", She does seem sincerely sorry but she's done it before, lying to me. I'm sick of the lies. We say no more lies and we are going to tell each other the truth but there she goes again and lies to me.

"I'm just sick of the lies, I don't think I can do this anymore, lying to each other all the time and then getting back together", I love her so much but I don't think I can cope.

"Harry" she starts sobbing "Please don't do this, I love you so much. You're the one who left me and Alexa for a week. One fucking week Harry. Alexa misses you so much and you didn't even bother ringing me to ask if she was ok or anything." I now realise how much of a prick I've been leaving them for so long but I can't seem to shake off the countless lies.

"I know Ruby I'm sorry, I love you's both more than the world but its the lies" she shakes her head "Please don't leave me" She starts fully crying now and it's breaking my heart "Come home with me, please Harry". I really want to go back with her, more than anything but I can't forgive her yet.

 I sigh "Are you done?" I gesture to her food.

"Yeah, I'm not hungry anymore" she wipes the tears away while I ask for the bill.

I pay for the food before I finally say "Come on then, lets go home". Her eyes light up and she breaks out in a huge smile but I hope she knows that she isn't totally forgiven but she needs me right now just as much as I need her.

Ok so this is quite a long chapter and I hope you guys enjoyed it. I know people hate to see Ruby and Harry arguing but it had to be done or it gets boring.
