Bound Together

Prolouge- Part 1

Prologue-

Ruby’s pov-

 “I can’t believe you’ve set me up on another blind date jess!” I screeched

"It’s Niall’s best friend though, he’s a really nice guy, I promise.” Jess replied

“You owe me big time! I’m going to shower, pick me out something to wear seeing as you know where I’m going and I don’t.” I shouted as I walked to the bathroom. After I showered I walked to see the smallest tightest dress I owned hanging up ready, if Jess thinks I’m wearing this she’s got another thing coming.

“Jess what is this?” I asked holding up the tiny piece of material.

“I think it’s a dress?” she sarcastically answered.

“I guessed that one!"

“Erg stop being boring and put it on.” She mumbled walking away.

 I decided not to get on Jess’s bad side tonight and quickly pulled on the dress, doing my makeup after, not putting much effort in I don’t even know if this guy is worth my time yet, probably not thinking to the last blind date I was set up with from Niall and Jess, I left my hair in loose waves grabbed my bag ready for what is probably going to be hell…

“I have reservations booked under the name Horan?” I told the waiter as I walked in the very posh restaurant Jess and Niall picked.

“Ah yes your company is already seated.” He replied leading me to the table, the walk to where we were seated, the walk seemed to go on forever, the restaurant was huge, every step I felt myself becoming more nervous. I’d never had much luck with dating, especially when in was set up by Jess, I don’t know why I continue to agree to these, but I trust her she’s my best friend I have to trust her right? She promised me the guy tonight was nice maybe this time will be different, but I suppose I think that every time yet they always turn out to be jerks.
Suddenly the waiter stops, I look down to see a pair of dark green eyes staring up at me.

 “Better late than never I suppose.” He says sitting back smugly.
