Chapter 45

Ruby's pov-

"Harry don't do this!" I pleaded.

I pushed through the unstable, unsanitary door unable to stand listening any longer. Harry's head snaps up as I walk in the room, removing himself from sitting leaned over with his head in his hands.

"Ruby what are you doing here?" He shouts, glaring at me to go, but there's no way I'm leaving him here.

"Well, what do we have here?" The bitch speaks up, laughing with her signature smirk plastered across her face.

"Your not seriously leaving me to be with her?" I ask ignoring anything Ellie said.

"Why would he want to be with you, if he can have me." She buts in again.

"Does it look like I was talking to you?" I screamed at her, finally loosing it.

"You should be careful what your saying to me." She smugly says holding both hands behind her back.

"Oh fuck off Ellie!" Harry finally speaks up starting to walk towards me.

"Stay back Harry," Ellie says

"Or what?" He bites back

"I swear to god Harry, if you take one more step towards her I will shoot!" She replies pulling a gun from behind her back. I freeze on the spot and look over to Harry as all the colour drains from his face, my heartbeat increases, going so fast it is practically beating out of my chest. How did this happen, how has Ellie one of my former best friends managed to turn into a complete physco and end up holding me and Harry at gun point.

"Ellie, you need to put the gun down, your being completely ridiculous." Harry stays quite calmly, considering the situation we're in.

"You know I can't do that Harry, if this is the only way for you to be mine I'm willing to go to extreme lengths, do you realise how hard it's been for me to see you with her." She spits. "You know all these years you hated her and she hated you even more, Jess and Niall always tried to set you up and make you get along, but it never worked, I had nothing to worry about, just the nameless sluts you slept with, but I knew they weren't a problem i mean you didn't bother to remember there names so why would they be any threat, but then you decide to play happy families, and what the perfect family it was, both of you and Alexa, how cute, but it wasn't the perfect relationship was it, I mean with her running to zayn and you Harry, you were keeping a few secrets weren't you, I'm glad they're all out in the open though now, aren't you?" I literally couldn't take me eyes from Harry through Ellie's speech, I can't help but think our full relationship was built on lies, how could he not tell me he was there during the crash, however me running to zayn is complete bullshit, I literally met up with him once only because I bumped into him in the park.

"Your full of shit Ellie, I have not once 'ran to zayn', you don't know what your talking about."

" I know you kissed him." I glance at Harry to see him tense.

"No, I have never kissed Zayn, he kissed me, I didn't want to kiss him." I find myself shouting trying to explain myself, but why I should explain myself to her I don't know.

"Don't worry babe, he didn't want to kiss you etheir, I told him to, you know so Harry would find out leave you and come back to me."

"He wouldn't go to you if his life depended on it!" I screamed

"Maybe not, but he would if your life depended on it." She replies "Well Harry it's your decision, go to her and I'll shoot, come to me and she can go free, what's it going to be?"

I look over at Harry, he looks down to his face concentrating, unable to look me in the eye.

"Harry you don't have to go with her, she's made please don't!" I plead with him once again. I watch him, waiting for him to walk to me, but soon enough my heart shatters as he edges towards her.

My eyes a filled with tears as he stands with her, my head is in my hands as I try to stop the tears falling. I suddenly hear a scream and look up to see Harry running with force against Ellie trying to knock the gun from her hands, but the shouting and screaming soon stops as a bullet goes off.

The pain is unbearable as blood seeps out of my leg. I can't even see what's going on as my vision goes blurry.

"Ruby! Rub, stay awake don't close your eyes, you need to look at me and stay awake." I hear distanced voices. I look down to my leg, to see the seeping wound and everything goes black.
