Chapter 34

Ruby's POV

I was basically distraught with what I saw. Messages off Ellie, not just one though, eight. Eight flaming messages which left my mind confused and baffled. As I read through every single one I found myself doubting mine and Harry's relationship yet again. Harry obviously has something to hide having a different phone which is kept from me or who ever else, with only one number in it. Ellie's. Why on earth would he have her number? I didn't even think they knew each other that well or had a past or even a present for that matter. Well I thought, obviously with Ellie's harassing text messages they must. But now coming to think of it every time Ellie is around Harry acts suspicious, really suspicious for that matter but he also becomes very maybe a bit over protective of me and with Ellie's continuous and over possessive questioning of me and Harry I'm surprised I didn't click a little earlier. I stare down at the phone again reading every single one of the eight messages over and over again.

Ellie(1)- You know we can't forget about it Harry:(

Ellie(2)- Harry will you answer me babe???

Ellie(3)- Wouldn't you rather be here with me like old times?;)

Ellie(4)- Urgh, are you with that stupid bitch playing happy families???

Ellie(5)- If you don't tell Ruby I will...

Ellie(6)- You know what I'm capable of Harry

Ellie(7)- Urgh Harry!!!!! Please babe!!

Ellie(8)- How long do you think you're going to be able to get away with it Harry?

Her behaviour is like freaking bipolar! But what is Harry trying to get away with? What is Ellie going to tell me? Is he cheating on me? Harry wouldn't cheat on me, would he? Well apparently he liked Ellie in the past, but surely not now, not now that he's got me and Alexa. Harry wouldn't do this to us. I know he wouldn't. Ellie sending a wink face to my Harry makes me physically sick to the stomach. Ellie, the one who is supposed to be one of my best friends now (along with Katy and of course never forgetting Jess) has just called me a bitch. A bitch, I am not a bitch at all. 

Ellie had sent one of these texts every single day, the eighth one being today and the first one obviously being eight days ago. I decide to go back to see if Harry has 'sent' any messages as this is a very old phone and I barley know how to use it. I go back to Harry's 'sent' messages and Harry had sent one, only one message to Ellie eight days ago just before Ellie had text Harry sending the first message (1). 

Sent Items:

To-> Ellie(1)- Can we just forget everything that happened Ellie? I'm serious, I don't want to jeopardize everything.

What could be so bad that Harry wanted to forget? That he wanted to hide from the world, from me? I always knew that Harry was no angel, he may of looked like it at times but I never thought he had so many secrets that he would have a secret phone. I am presuming that Harry had only sent that one message to her because he would have no reason to delete the message as if he had of he would of deleted all of Ellie's messages too, wouldn't he of?

I am going to find out what they are both hiding. I am doing this to protect Harry and keep him safe as much as anything. Yes, maybe I am curious to find out what my boyfriend and so called best friend have been keeping from me but I love Harry, even with all of his flaws. I know for a fact if this is as serious as it sounds that Harry couldn't have just cheated on me, it has to be something worse for it to jeopardize everything. 

I sit in Harry's chair with the old brick phone in one hand and fingers drumming on the desk trying to brain storm ideas of how I could find something out, anything. I place my drumming hand also onto the phone, my fingers hovering over the old keypad before I finally pluck up the courage to do it before Harry gets back. 

To-> Ellie(2)- Why can't we just forget about it? Why are you trying to hold this against me?

SEND

I pressed the send button before I could decide against it and turned the phone off and chucked it into my handbag. I buried it deep in the bottom of my bag with lots of crap covering and hiding it, I'm sure Harry won't find it in there; he never goes in my bag anyways. I am going to check the phone later when Harry is out of sight but I'm just scared that I am not going to like the reply that Ellie returns with...

omg I know this has no dialogue in it but I hope it wasn't too boring, I really do:( but I just needed to get this chapter across so you guys know what's going on and make it lead to a bit more of an exciting bit hehe

what do you think this BIG secret could be and what do you guys think of ruby sending ellie the text pretending to be harry, oh oh

we're trying to not rush things but we don't want it to go mega slow, so I hope you guys think it's going at a good speed

and I think this is the last thing- urgh I know it seems like harry and ruby are always arguing but do you's not agree sometimes it's a little boring when they are all happy, hehe
