Harry's pov-
I leave work after Banks is done with me for the day, it's only 4.30pm so I decide to call into Kyle's to give him the news, then I won't have to drop by tomorrow. I have to take a slight detour to the more rougher area quite close to were I grew up actually not far from my secondary school. I drive down the street to the block of flats I've been informed he lives in. As I walk through the squeaky doors I eye the lift and apprehensively press the button it starts come down with the most piercing sound coming from it, I decide it would be a safer option to take the stairs. I climb up 6 flights before finally coming to flat number 65. I brace myself before knocking on the door.
Ruby's pov-
My phone buzzes with a text from Harry.
*Needed at the office, so won't be home until late, sorry babe, love you x*
I'm starting to get bored sitting waiting for Harry, he seems to always be at the office, what kind if office is open and needs him at these weird timings. With Alexa being in Ireland and absolutely nothing to do I decide to text Katie to see if she wants to meet up but I soon find out she's out with Liam, so I decide to walk round to Ellie's. I grab my jacket and lock the door, it's only about 10 minutes to Ellie's. So I quickly speed walk round and knock on the door. Waiting for the door to open I wrap my jacket tighter around me and hide my hands under the sleeves trying to warm myself up. I hear the key turning from the inside and the door rattles I look up to see familiar tanned skin and brown eyes. Zayn.
"Um hi R.r.ruby.." He stutters. I awkwardly watch as Ellie comes behind him wearing nothing but what looks like Zayn's baggy jumper. Out of the corner of my eye I see and smirk crawl across Ellie's lips.
"I'm sorry for interrupting whatever's going on here, I'll go." I quickly say turning and walking faster then I ever have to be out of that situation.
"Ruby, RUBY!" I hear Zayn shout but I refuse to look back and keep walking getting faster and faster.
"Ruby! Wait?" He shouts again grabbing my arm as he catches up to me.
"What is it Zayn?"
"I just want to explain?" He says but sounds more like he's asking.
"Explain? You don't have to explain yourself to me, it's up to you who you spend you're time with it's got nothing to do with me." I reply quite harshly. He looks down to the floor, thinking before replying.
"Look I know you're 'with' Harry but there's so much you don't know about him, he's going to hurt you-
"Zayn just stop." I cut him of "Stop talking about Harry like that, he's not going to hurt me he loves me." I say, wondering if I'm assuring Zayn or myself.
"Please Ruby, you can't be with him!"
"Why are you even bothered, clearly you're having a good enough time with Ellie."
"No that's not what it looks like, I what to be with you Ruby not her you."
"Zayn, you know I'm with Harry." I reply as he takes a step closer to me.
"Not for long." He replies before pushing his lips on mine.
