She Rises

Chapter 28

Hey guys, just letting you know, this chapter is not yet edited.

I wake up in a cold sweat, that was one of the worst dreams I think I've ever had. Let me tell you about it.

*Dream*

I wake up, not knowing where I am, again. Just like last time. Only this time, the wolf is already there. The warning I got the last time "You may think things are starting to look up for you, remember though, your past, is never going to leave you. It's always going to be there. You'll never get away from it, no matter how hard you try, you will forever be punished." This time though, it's dark, and the wolf is saying it. It has a deep voice, I almost recognize it. I get a bad feeling, as the wolf comes closer. Still talking, it's starting to transform into a man, "Don't worry, you still have time." It tells me before vanishing. Before the figure fully forms. Are these really dreams? Or are they warnings?"

*End of Dream*

I don't try to worry about it very much. I just go about my normal routine and get ready for school. I go downstairs, chit chat with my family, eat breakfast and head to school. I decided to drive myself today, I needed to do some thinking. As I get to school, I see everyone all chit chatting. I park my car and go up to them all, big smile on my face.

"Hey guys." I say as I walk up to them.

Everyone says hi at the same time. Except Jace, of course.

"Hey love, how are you this morning?" he asks me.

"I'm good. How about you?" I give him a smile and a kiss.

"So far, so good." He gives me a big smile.

When we hear the bell ring, we all get our stuff and head to class. Finally, lunch rolls around, and we all meet at our table.

"So, what are everyone's plans this weekend?" I ask them all.

"Nothing that I know of." Says Ashlyn.

"Me neither." Says James.

"Jace?" I ask him.

"I was going to see if you wanted to hang out." He tells me.

"What about you guys?" I ask talking to Carlos, Ryder, and Sam, and Andrew.

"Nothing." Says Sam.

"Nada." I got from Ryder.

"Zilch." Says Carlos.

"Andrew?" I ask.

"Well, I was going to ask Ashlyn out on a date Saturday night." He says, looking at her.

"W-h-hat?" I hear Ashlyn stammer?

"Ashlyn, would you like to go on a date Saturday night?" Andrew asks her.

I look at Ashlyn, staring at me like I have an answer for her.

"I would love to." She looks at him with a big smile.

"Finally, I thought this day would never come." I mumble under my breath, which of course, Jace heard, and starts laughing.

"What's so funny over there?" I look to Ashlyn to see her giving me a look.

"Nothing, inside joke over here." I try to not start laughing again.

"Seems like you're feeling a lot better today." He tells me.

"I am feeling better!" I tell him. I decided to up how much I smoke so I don't almost slip at school.

"How about we hang out this weekend? You and me." He asks me.
