"Welcome back." The doctor smiles at me.
"What happened?" I ask.
"I will let your family tell you that. Then I will come in and talk to you more about it." He gives me a smile and walk out.
Next thing I know, I hear people rushing in. I see my aunt and uncle, Riley, Jace, Andrew, Ashlyn, and Evan? When did Evan get here?
"Oh, my baby girl. I'm so glad you're ok." My aunt comes over to me, and starts crying while she hugs me. Then my uncle comes over.
"Haseya, I'm so glad you're ok."
"What happened?" I ask them all.
"We'll let Jace explain that all to you in a minute. He knows the whole story." My uncle says, looking over at Jace.
"Hey everyone?" I hear Riley.
"Can I talk to Haseya in private, please? It'll only take about 10 minutes."
"Sure thing. Haseya, do you mind?" My aunt asks.
"That's fine." I tell them.
"We'll be back in a little bit. We'll let you talk to Riley and your friends and we will be back. We're going to go home and take a small break, now that we know you are ok." My uncle says and gives me a kiss on the forehead, same with my aunt. I then watch them walk out.
"So, what did you need to talk to me about?" I ask her.
Riley P.O.V.
I'm so glad she is ok, I just really need to talk to her. Apologize for not being there as much as I should have been. I hear them all talking to her and I wait until my aunt and uncle start to leave before I ask to talk to her in private.
"So, what did you need to talk to me about?" She asks me.
"I want to apologize for not being there for you." I start off.
"Riley, you we-." She starts.
"No, let me finish please."
"I want to apologize for not being there for you as much as I should have. I know you got new friends and a boyfriend, but we just grew apart after that. I feel as if I was there for you more, then I would have noticed what was going on. I feel that some of this may be my fault, that you had no one else to talk to. I mean, I know you had Jace and your friends, but I meant someone closer. I know I told you that I would always be there for you, and I haven't. I've always been with my friends, or doing other stuff. The only time we really saw each other was at dinner and before school. We never hung out like we used to. I miss that, and I want to go back to that closeness. I don't mean stop hanging with your friends or Jace, just maybe after school, we chill and talk and do homework together. I miss you." At this point, I'm crying. I'm crying for her, for me, for everything.
"Riley." She looks at me.
"What?" I sniffle through my tears.
"Come here." She holds out her arms for me.
I go over and sit next to her on the bed, and just hug her. We just both cry.
"I miss you too Riley. I love you." She tells me.
"I love you too Haseya." I hug her tighter.
After we hug it out and talk for a few more minutes, I send in Evan.
"Jace, Andrew, Ashlyn, Evan." I look at them all.
"I know you all want to go talk to her, but can Evan please go first? She hasn't seen him since summer and she didn't even realize that he was here until she woke up." I tell them.
"That's fine." Says Jace.
"Cool with us." Says Ashlyn and Andrew.
"Evan, head on in." I tell him.
Haseya P.O.V.
Next thing I know, Evan come through the door. I'm so glad to see him, but I'm sad that the reason he is here early, is because of me.
"Why the frown, Haseya?" He asks me as soon as he comes in.
"I'm the reason you're here early, you should still be at school." I tell him.
"Hey, family is one of the most important things. I don't care if I miss a month, I will wait for you to be better. Plus, now you have more time to hang out with me." He gives me a big smile.
I can't help but start giggling. How I've missed him. He always makes me laugh. I did miss him. Very much.
"Well, I'm happy to see you, but not for the reason why." I tell him. My smile turns down again.
It is my fault that he is here. I need to know what happened though.
"Evan, as much as I'd like to catch up right now, can I talk to Jace and my friends? I need to find out what happened." I tell him. Giving him a small smile.
"Sure, thing little one." He says, giving me a kiss on my forehead and walking out.
Jace P.O.V.
"Jace, Haseya would like to talk to you and the others." Evan comes out of her room.
"Sure. Ashlyn, Andrew, Haseya wants to talk to us." I tell them, not waiting to go see my love.
I walk into the room to see a small smile on her lips. Looks like her talk with her cousins went good.
"Good to see you smile." I tell her, making her jump a little.
"Jace! Don't do that, you scared me." She glares at me.
"Sorry, I just couldn't help myself."I laugh.
"I'm so glad you're ok. How are you feeling?" I ask her.
"Well, as good as anyone can feel after waking up from a week-long coma." She says, giggling.
"Well, let's hope that you bounce back quickly." I joke with her.
"Well, I don't think I will go back just right away. I'll probably be stuck her for a little while longer. Anyway, so what happened?" She asks.
"Are you sure you want to know?" I ask her. Worried that she may not want to know what happened just yet.
"I'm sure." She says, a stern look on her face.
"Well..."
Oi Oi Peaches! So, just a small filler, and a cliffhanger. We all know everyone loves cliffhangers!
Me, I don't like reading a book with cliffhangers, it drives me crazy. Yet, I do it to all you lovely readers. I love you all though!
So, I'm thinking of making an update schedule. Instead of like 4 updates in a row then nothing for a few days.
What do you all think? Make a schedule? Or just do it when I can? I mean, I can all the time. I just get lazy sometimes.
Let me know!
Love you all
Good day/goodnight!
