Haseya P.O.V.
After about 20 minutes, Jace has told me everything that has happened. My friends are standing in the corner, their faces have smiles, but I can tell they are still sad. Hell, I'm sad. I can't help it, I just break down and cry. I cry because this is all my fault. Everyone being sad, and worried.
"I'm so sorry! This is all my fault, you all waiting here, I'm so selfish!" My voice getting louder.
"Baby, you are not selfish." Jace tells me.
"God no!" I hear Ashlyn and Andrew say at the same time.
"Awe! Now you guys are saying the same thing! I'm so happy for you!" I start laughing.
I see Ashlyn's cheeks turn red and Andrew rubs the back of his neck. Jace chuckles.
"I feel selfish though, I mean, you are all here because of me and my stupidity. And don't say anything about it not being stupid. It was stupid, I turn to something that I knew could cause me problems instead of confiding in the people that I love and love me. I know you guys would have helped me through it and I took the harder route. I'm so sorry." I tell them, tears welling up in my eyes.
We all sit there for about an hour, talking about everything that has happened and they asked me about why I did it. I told them all about it, what it did and all of that. While I'm explaining it, I realize that, what I did had no purpose really. What really came out of it? My mom was never there, not really, she was never coming back, so why torture myself with it. It finally all came together and I have everything I need around me. I have a wonderful loving family, the best friends in the world, and a boyfriend that loves me, even with all my faults.
5 Days Later
I'm finally out of the hospital and I'm sitting on my bed watching movies. After I had that talk with all my friends, I feel like a weight has lifted off my chest. I'm taking another week off school just to get my bearings back. Jace comes over every day after school. He should be coming over soon. As soon as I said that, I hear the doorbell. I hear Haley yell from downstairs.
"Haseya, come to the door please."
That's weird, she usually just lets Jace in and he comes up. So, I grab my slippers and walk downstairs. I look up to see the cutest little girl ever.
"Lily!" I yell, running to give her a hug.
"Haseya! I'm so glad you're doing ok." She hugs me back.
"She wanted to come see you. She hasn't stopped bugging me about it." He chuckles.
"I'm so glad to see you! I missed you." I tell her.
"I missed you too! Jace wouldn't let me come see you at the hospital. He didn't want me to see you while you were like that." She says, a frown on her face.
"I wouldn't want you to see my like that either. I wasn't in a very good state." I pull her over to the couch along with Jace.
"So, Lily, how have you been?" I ask her.
"I've been ok. Daddy hasn't been around much, so I've spent a lot of time with Jodi and Jace." She has a sadness in her voice and her eyes. I wonder what has been going on. I'll have to ask Jace later.
We all sit there for about another hour or so talking. I'm catching up with Lily. I look over to Jace who just has a smile on his face. I wonder what is going on in his head.
Jace P.O.V.
Lily just loves Haseya, I can tell. She wouldn't stop bugging me about seeing her again, so I thought, why not surprise her. While we're all sitting there talking, more like Haseya and Lily talking, which I don't mind, I got to thinking about what I have been for a little while now. I'm turning 18 soon, and I have the money, I want to leave my father's house and have legal guardianship over Lily. I don't want her to have to live with him anymore. I'll have to get Haseya's opinion on that one. See what she thinks. Speaking of birthdays.
"Babe, your birthday is coming up soon." I tell her.
"You know what, it sure is! I'm going to be 18!" She says all excitedly.
"It's going to be your birthday!?" Lily asks.
"It sure is, November 15th. That's 6 days away." She says.
"Jace! We have to throw her a party!" Lily looks over to me, all excited.
"We'll see, it's up to how she is feeling." I tell her. Knowing about what was supposed to happen on her birthday. I wonder how she feels about it. But, that's another talk for another day. Instead, I decide to just join the conversation going on now. We stay for a little longer until it's finally time to go home.
"Lily, it's time to go home baby." I say to her. She gives me a small pout.
"It's not going to work this time." I tell her.
"Fine! Haseya, promise I will see you again soon?" She asks her.
"Of, course little one." She says giving Lily a hug.
"I'll call you later babe. I love you." I tell her, giving her a kiss.
"I love you too." She says.
Oi Oi Peaches!
I know, I've been gone for a little while. It's been a mixture of not feeling well, and having a writer's block. Anyway, I'm back on track and should be updating every few days again.
Remember, I love you all!
