She Rises

Chapter 32

Jace P.O.V.

"Babe, wake up." I shake her, trying to wake her up.

"Mmmmm...no, sleep." She mumbles.

"Babe, you need to wake up. I've got to get going." I tell her.

"Carry me to my room?" she asks me.

I can't help but start laughing.

"Of course, anything for you my love." I say picking her up.

I pick her up and carry her bridal style up the stairs, to her room. When I get up there I pull down her covers and lay her in the bed.

"Goodnight babe. I will call you in the morning. I love you." I give her a kiss and cover her up.

"Mmmmm night, love you too." She mumbles.

I can't help but chuckle and head down the stairs. I would love to stay and be with her all night, but I have to go and relieve Jodi of Lily. I get on my bike and leave. As I drive down the road I start to think some more. I'm happy she told me about some of her past. I'm also worried that maybe these dreams that she has, are warnings.

I get home and park my bike. The lights are still on, so I'm assuming Lily is still awake. It's like 10 at night, what is she still doing up? I ask myself. As soon as I get inside I hear a squeal and someone running.

"JACE YOUR HOME!!!!" I hear Lily scream as she come running towards me. I hold my arms out for her.

"Hi sweetie, were you good for Jodi?" I ask her.

I hear Jodi coming down the hall, laughing.

"She was an angel Jace, she always is." She starts to chuckle.

"I just want to make sure, she is young. She could turn at any moment." I give a little smirk to Lily, making her giggle.

"Jodi, I really appreciate your help with Lily. I don't know what I would do without you. I really don't." I tell her.

"It's no problem, I promise you that Jace. I love looking after Lily, she is such a sweetheart." She tells me, with a big smile on her face.

"Jodi, where is my dad?" I ask her.

"I'm not sure, he never did show up." She says.

"Lily, go upstairs, and get in your pajamas. I will be up in a few minutes." I tell her, rushing her up the stairs.

"It honestly doesn't surprise me he's not home. He hasn't been coming home for the last few days. I honestly don't mind, because then he can't try and hurt Lily, or me. I don't really care about me, it's more Lily, that I'm worried about.

I head upstairs to see Lily in her pink Hello Kitty pajamas in the bed waiting on me.

"Hey little one, are you ready for bed?" I ask her.

"I got my pajamas on, in the bed, and have the covers on. So, yup, I sure am." She gives me a big grin.

"Well, I hope you get some good sleep. I love you, always. Goodnight." I tell her and give her a kiss on the forehead.

I go and get myself a shower. I get into my room and change into some pajama pants. I'm not going to worry about a shirt. With that I go to sleep and wait for tomorrow.

Haseya P.O.V.

I wake up the next morning, remembering last night. I'm so glad to have all that off my chest. It's a big relief knowing that now, he knows. I go through my normal routine, deciding to smoke a little more than I usually do, considering that I didn't smoke any last night. I don't have much planned for today. As soon as I say that, my phone rings. It's Ashlyn. I totally forgot she had a date last night.

"Hello?" I answer

"Haseya, omg you will not believe it!" She yells through the phone.

"What? How was your date? Was he a gentleman?" I ask her. Excited.

"Hold your horses! It was very good, yes he was a gentleman, and he asked me to be his girlfriend!" She squeals, excitedly.

"Oh, I'm so happy for you! He better treat you good, otherwise I will kill him!" I tell her.

We chit chat for about another hour or two and then decide to get off the phone so we can get some sleep, because we have school tomorrow. Oh boy!

Peaches! I know I said I would skip ahead this chapter, but it wouldn't make sense if I did.
