Jace P.O.V.

I wake up the next morning, remembering last night. I look over and Lily isn't there. Oh, my god, was it really a dream? I then hear laughing from downstairs. Jodi was here a little early. Why is she here so early? I look at my phone and I don't have anything, so I just go downstairs. "Jodi, what are you doing here early?" I ask her. "Oh, I know that sometimes you get up early for Lily, and you seemed tired lately, so I wanted you to get a little extra sleep. I'm sorry if I upset you." She told me. Looking nervous. "Oh, no it's perfectly fine. I actually really appreciate it." I say while I go back upstairs to shower and get ready for the day. I go back downstairs, grab some cereal and head off. "Lily, you be good for Jodi!" I yell. "She always is." I hear Jodi yell back. With that, I leave to pick up Haseya, then we're off to school.

Haseya P.O.V.

I wake up, looking forward to my day. I'm feeling good, but I know how I can feel better. I decide there isn't any harm in it, so I decide to smoke a little. Like I said, I will be able to hide it. It's an escape, like I have no care in the world. I mean, I have Jace, my family and my friends. It just seems like something is missing, and when I smoke it, even if I don't have a vision, I don't notice what's missing. When I get done, I get dressed and go downstairs. Hey guys!" I say, all excited. "Well, good morning to you too." My aunt says. She gives me a strange look. I hope I'm not too obvious. That would really suck! I grab a granola bar when I hear Jace's bike pull up. "I will see you guys after school! Love you all!" I give them all a wave and smile and head out.

"Hey babe!" I smile at my man. "Hey love. How are you this morning?" he asks me. "I'm great! Let's head out, shall we?" I ask him, then we leave and head to school.

My mood is great through the first half of my day. I'm feeling wonderful. When lunch starts to roll around, I don't feel so great. "Haseya?" I hear Ashlyn say. "WHAT!?" I snap at her. Oh shit. "What the hell? I was just going to ask and see how you're doing. We didn't talk much in class." She looks at me kind of hurt. "I'm sorry, I'm fine just not feeling that great." I start to eat and Jace gives me a weird look. I try to block everything out, I don't want to snap on anyone else. "I have to go guys." With that I walk out of the cafeteria. Not looking back.

Jace P.O.V.

"What the hell just happened?" I asked Ashlyn. "I have no idea. She has never acted like that. How was she when you picked her up this morning?" She asks me. "She was perfectly fine, more than fine, she was really happy." I tell her. "Do you think I should go after her?" I ask her. "I wouldn't suggest it. I wouldn't want anyone following me if I snapped like that. Maybe she just needs some time alone." She tells me. "Did anything happen in any of your classes that could have set her off?" I look in the direction that she left. Debating in my head whether I should go after her. "Jace, just leave her be. I don't know what could be going on, but I think she needs to be alone right now." She tells me. Reaching over the table, patting my hand. I see Andrew come up to the table and give Ashlyn a kiss on the cheek. Yup, I knew it was going to happen. Haseya was right, they might not be together just yet. It will happen though. I get up when the bell rings.

After school, I wait for Haseya to meet me at my bike. It takes her a little bit longer than necessary. Finally, she comes out of the building, huge smile on her face. What the hell? "Jace! Are you ready to go?" she asks me. "Are you ok? You were all pissy and snapped at lunch. Now you have a big smile on your face." I tell her. I'm worried. "Oh, yeah, I'm fine. Just thinking in my head. No big deal." She gives me a kiss. "Ok, if you say so." I tell her, giving her a hug. I honestly don't believe her, but I'm not going to pry. We hop on our bike and head to her house. As soon as we get there. She hops off, giving me a hug and kiss. "I'll see you tomorrow. I love you!" and she runs into her house. "I love you too!" I yell before she closes the door. She turns to give me a big smile. Maybe she is just having an off day. I try to put it out of my head, and just go home.

Haseya P.O.V.

I can't believe I did that at lunch. I don't know what came over me. I'm so glad I took some stuff to school, it made me feel a lot better. I walk into the kitchen to see my aunt cooking. "Hi auntie! How was your day?" I ask her. Feeling my cheery self again. "It was good. How was yours, sweetheart?" she asks me. "It was very good! I'm going upstairs until dinner is ready!" With that, I run upstairs to my room. I hope tomorrow is a better day. I can't act like that again. "Dinner is ready!" I hear my aunt yell. We all sit down for dinner, and chit chat. After dinner, I decide to shower and go to bed. Before I fall asleep I decide to text Ashlyn and Jace.

Haseya: Hey, I'm so sorry for snapping at you. I don't know what came over me. I love you, bestie!

Ashlyn: It's ok. I forgive you bestie. Get a good night's sleep. Love you!

Next, I decide to text Jace.

Haseya: Hey babe, just wanted to say sorry for my mood swings today. Maybe I just need a little more sleep. I love you! Goodnight!

Jace: It's ok babe. Just get some sleep please. I don't want another incident like tonight. I love you too. Goodnight.

I feel better after I get that out of the way. As I lay my head down, I think about today, hoping for a better one tomorrow.
