Chapter 33

Hello Peaches! So, quick author's note on this chapter. I'm going to skip around to October, close to Halloween! Hope you enjoy this chapter.

Haseya P.O.V.

Jace and I, we're doing really good. It's a Monday, and I'm getting ready for school. There's a Halloween party on Saturday, and I cannot wait for it! I'm still using peyote, and the changes in me, are getting more and more obvious, but I'm covering them up as much as I can. Making excuses and so far, there have been no questions, but I think Jace knows something is up. I just feel like I need it to get through my day anymore. I see my mom every now and then, and I feel like if I don't do it every day, I might miss a chance to "talk" with her. Either way, I'm all ready for school. I've upped my "dosage" as you could say, because I'm trying to hide it, but I think it's too late for that. I'll come clean soon, but not yet. As soon as I get done, I hop in my truck and go to school.

As soon as I pull in I see Jace, James, Ashlyn, and Andrew waiting by the doors. I run up to them with a big smile on my face.

"Hey guys!" I say cheerfully.

"Hey babe." Jace says.

"Sup?" From James.

"Hey!!" From Ashlyn.

And a "Hello." From Andrew, who takes his attention back to Ashlyn. Of course, they're so cute.

"Ready for class?" Jace asks me.

"Sure!" I say.

We get through all our morning classes. For some reason, I'm not feeling to well. I'm all shaky and cold. I feel like I'm being followed, and I keep looking around for someone, but no one is there.

"Babe, are you ok?" Jace asks me, coming up to me to go to lunch.

"Oh, yea, I'm fine." I tell him. Not wanting to say anything.

I've been doing this a lot lately. I feel like I'm always being followed.

"Hey, the bell rang for lunch. Let's go." Jace grabs my hand, looking at me worried.

"Ok." I say and follow him.

I sit down with all my friends, and we all chit chat.

"Haseya, are you ok?" I hear Ashlyn ask.

"Yea, why?" I ask her.

Are you sure you're ok?" she asks.

"Yea I'm fine Ash-" before I can finish that sentence, I run away, because I feel like I'm going to be sick. I run to the girl's bathroom and puke up my guts. Oh, shit. I know what's happening, it's been going on for a few days and it's not good. I know Jace has noticed something. Fuck. My. Life. I think, my smoking is getting to me. I've looked this up before, I don't know what to do now. I guess I head back to the lunch room.

"Sorry about that guys." I say as I sit down.

"You ok?" Ashlyn asks me.

"Yea, I'm fine. Now what were we talking about?" I ask her.

We go back to small chit chat.

Jace P.O.V.

Something is up with Haseya. She's been acting this way for a few days now. Something is wrong and she isn't telling anybody. Not even me. She knows she can tell me anything, right? While I'm in my thoughts, I don't hear the bell ring.

"Babe, the bell just rang. I'll see you after school?" Haseya says to me.

"Oh, yea. See you after school." I say and give her a small kiss.
