Jason P.O.V.
As soon as I send Haseya upstairs, I go back and sit down with my wife on the couch.
"It's so good to see her smile." I look over to Shadi giving her a smile.
"It is babe. After everything she has been through, and what we have learned, I'm so happy she found Jace. I can tell, they love each other very much. I mean, you really love someone if you are willing to sit at the hospital, refuse to go to school, and only went home when he had to. If that's not love, I don't know what is. He has been with her through everything, I think they are great together." She looks over and smiles at me.
"He really is a good kid. I like him a lot. I couldn't ask for better for her. Maybe they will be high school sweethearts. Haha." I let out a small chuckle.
"Did she ever tell you how they met? Or what she did?" She asks me, a big grin on her face.
"No, I don't think so, Why? What did she do?" I ask, a serious look on my face.
"It's nothing bad. It's actually really funny." She looks at me, and starts telling me what Haseya did to Jace.
"That's my girl!" I fist pump the air.
"It is pretty funny. It actually didn't surprise me that she would do something like that." She starts laughing.
"Do you remember how we met?" I turn to her and take her hand.
"Yes, yes I do. I was working at a Café while attending college, and you came in. I was on my way out after I had changed out of my uniform into one of my favorite new shirts and I had a shake in my hand. You bumped into me and spilled my shake. You were so upset and guilty, even though I told you it was ok. You kept offering and offering to buy me a new shirt and me being me, I declined because, I too, should have watched where I was going. With that, we parted ways, and I didn't think I'd see you again. Yet, I go in the next day and there you were, the same place you were last time, with a new shirt for me. And your apology, was so cute! You were like rushing through your words and I barely heard you asking me out. So, I had you repeat it slower and you were like, "I'm so sorry about your shirt yesterday, and I just couldn't let it go and I had to get you a new one. And, if you're ok with it, my name is Jason, and I'd love to take you out for coffee as another apology." It was so cute and I just couldn't help myself that I had to say yes." She starts smiling at the memory.
"I was so nervous, you have no idea. I was afraid a beautiful girl like you would say no. I mean, I'm just a plain man, nothing too special about me, but you still gave me a chance, and here we are now. Happily married, with two beautiful children and a niece that we consider a daughter and wouldn't trade for the world. Baby, you have made my life wonderful, and I never plan on letting you go. I love you." I lean in and give her a kiss.
"I don't plan on going anywhere. I love you too." She kisses me back. This woman, I don't know how I got her, but I'm glad I did. With that, we go back to watching our movie and cuddle.
Oi Oi lovelies! How are you all today?
I just loved writing this chapter! It was refreshing to do Jason's point of view. I've been thinking about doing it for a while now, I just needed the right time, and I honestly think this was it.
I hope you all enjoyed this little tid bit of interaction between the two, and how they met.
Love you all.
Votes and comments, would be lovely!
