Remus- Technically it's 56

Remus- the song repeats, so you get1 partridge, two turtles doves and a partridge, three french hens, two turtle doves and a partridge ....etc, leaving you with 56 birds and seven pear trees so far

Sirius- well thank merlin we only have 20 since we didn't get a partridge
