I walk into Ryan's party, and my new dress hugs my body. My stomach already twists at the thought of seeing Shawn tonight. I know I'm going to, him and Shawn are close after all. "Jose!" I hear a voice yell. Ryan walks towards me with a smile on his face and his arms open wide. I smile back and walk forward, meeting him in a hug. "I'm so happy you came," he says. "I am too," I lie. I'm glad to see him. But in all honesty, I'd much rather be at home watching movies on my laptop.

"I got you something," I say and hold it up. He takes it out of my hand, "I don't like when people buy me things," he frowns. I laugh and say, "It's your birthday, deal with it!" He laughs also and grabs my hand. "I know you don't know many people here, but Shawn is here." I gulp and don't say a word. He sees how I suddenly get tense, "Oh, I see what's going on. I'm sorry Josie." I just shake my head. "It's alright."

Lies, they keep building up. No, it's not alright. I want Noah right now, some one who I can talk to. He held me last night while I thought about how I could do better. The feelings for Noah is only friend wise, and I'm sure he feels the same way.

"Shawn, you're here!" I don't turn around when I hear Ryan say this. I stay starring at the table of food in front of me. It is very pretty, and looks really good. So it's not too bad to look at.
I almost laugh to myself, but soon remember there is more people. Not just me.

"Happy birthday," Shawn says in a cheery voice. I smile, his voice makes me smile. I'm so hung up on him.
You may think I'm crazy, but I can literally feel his eyes on me. As he makes small talk with Ryan, I know he's looking at me.

The night goes on, Shawn looks at me, and I act like I don't know. And I think I've stood in the same spot for literally an hour. Once it's over, I hug Ryan, wish him a happy birthday, and rush out the door.

I shouldn't let my thoughts ruin my night, but they are.

"Josie!" It doesn't take me even a second to recognize his voice. I don't stop walking, or even slow down, I go faster. "Please, just talk to me for a moment!"

Deep breaths Josie, deep breaths. The fact I don't even hesitate to turn around surprises me, "What is it?" He smiles before grabbing my hand. Holding it in his. I stare at his hand wrapped around mine, even when he starts talking again, my eyes stay.

"Taylor told me something really horrible but also good, I would explain it. But all that matters is you really didn't cheat, he did something. Let's not talk about it. I just want to give us another chance," then I do look up. My reaction isn't what he's hoping for. I pull my hand away from his grip.

"When something gets fucked up, you should try it again. It will just end the same way, at least that's how it is for me. I mess up a lot, even if it may not be completely my fault, it won't work for me again. I've learned that." Shawn knits his eyebrows together, and his mouth is slightly open.

He hasn't looked me in the eye since I said it. "Please," he says. I shake my head, but he doesn't see. His eyes are still not on me.

A lot of stress has been taken off my shoulders knowing I didn't cheat. But I can't try again. It won't work. I don't say anything, I just walk away, and get in my car.

This was short I know but I've never had writers block like this before. I suck at writing and when I have writers block I suck more. I'm sorry.
