"So tell me about the Dementor," Samantha said when they settled in for lunch. He had already told her about their Divination class and Samantha rolled her eyes. Of course he got the Grim and his death was predicited.

Harry divulged into what happened on the train and Samantha raised her eyebrows in surprise. She had no idea that the Dementors affected him as much as they do to normal people. Even she had the chills and feeling of sadness when that one came into their Compartment.

"I was very thankful for Professor Lupin," Harry spoke. "The chocolate really did help."

Samantha smirked. "Chocolate always helps."

"Do you know him?" Harry asked. He went back to when she clapped for him during the Feast the previous night. "Did you meet him on the train?"

Samantha froze. She was not expecting Harry to ask that. She did not know what to say. Should she brush it off? Or tell him the truth? That would open a door Samantha wasn't sure she wanted open. That door was open to their past which would eventually lead to Sirius Black and Samantha didn't know how to address that situation with Harry.

"I did see him on the train," she said. Well that wasn't a total lie. She did see him on the train. "Don't you have his class this week?"

Harry nodded. "We do on Thursday, I think."

Samantha nodded, glad that she changed the subject. "I hope you enjoy it."

He then told her all about Divination and she just shook her head. Of course Harry was predicted to die by the end of the year. She told him not to pay any attention to it and that Divination may not be his strong suit.

The bell rang signaling them for their next class and they stood up and headed towards Potions, which was with the Slytherins. She bid Harry and the trio goodbye who had Care of Magical Creatures.

Once they walked down to the dungeons and into the classroom, already Samantha sensed a negative atmosphere, more than usual.

The door opened and Snape stood in the doorway. "Obviously this year is OWLs which will weed out the lesser of you all. Open up your books to the first potion that we will start discussing."

Samantha looked at Snape for a moment and noticed he was more annoyed than usual and wondered why. She decided to stay quiet this class and not give Snape another reason to become more annoyed.

Surprisingly, the class went smoothly and Snape didn't even assign any homework which everyone thought was weird but did not question.

"Odd," George commented as they left and headed back to the Common Room. "But I'm not going to question it."

They all laughed as they said the password and walked inside. Samantha spotted the trio sitting by the fire and she wanted to hear about how Care of Magical Creatures went before they had to set off for their last class which was Transfiguration.

"So how was it?" she asked sitting down next to Ron and across from Hermione.

Ron grumbled something that was incoherent.

"What was that?" Samantha asked.

"Ask Malfoy," he responded and left a few large ink blots on his Transfiguration homework.

Samantha raised an eyebrow in confusion and looked at Harry and Hermione for clarification. Harry then told her what happened during their class and ended with Hagrid taking Malfoy to the Hospital Wing. She clenched her jaw in anger and let out a breath of angst. "Not even surprised," she muttered and kept shaking her head. Of course Malfoy would find a way to screw things up in his favor.
