Charlie Weasley packed his last bag and was set to take a Portkey back to England to watch the Third Task and then stay through the next two weeks for the Quidditch Final and then the Triwizard's Ball.

The Ministry announced the Ball last week and would set it up in the Great Hall. The winner would officially be announced and would take the time to celebrate the closing of the tournament and give everyone one last chance to be together.

Charlie waved his wand and his dress robes folded nicely into the top portion of his suitcase. He worked over time the last few months to get this time off. He wouldn't miss it for the world.

He wouldn't miss seeing...her.

Samantha Potter had not left his mind since he last saw her almost two months ago. Charlie thought going back to Romania would make things better but that was far from the truth. Him leaving made things worse. He thought about what she was doing, who she was hanging out with. Samantha had abruptly made her way into his heart and he knew she wouldn't be leaving any time soon.

These feelings hit Charlie like a tidal wave. Ever since he saw her during his visit for their Quidditch match, all he could think about was her.

Her smile. Her charm. Her care for others. Her skill. Her Quidditch ability. Her stubbornness. Her fiery temper. The way her eyes flared when she concentrated—

Charlie huffed in annoyance as his thoughts roamed free. He hated thinking these thoughts because he knew Samantha didn't feel the same and probably wouldn't. When he spoke to Tonks to get her insight, at first she squealed with excitement that Charlie had admitted his attraction to her, but then she didn't know where her head was at.

So far Charlie would take a back seat as he knew Samantha was still healing from her recent breakup. But what happened during Easter really accelerated his attraction for her into feelings. It was as though the combination of his Amortentia scent, his slight jealousy, and both of their maturity clicked in the best way.

Charlie had been waiting for this. This spark. Something that had potential. He knew he had to be patient. He knew he had to wait for the proper timing to see if this was worth pursuing.

As soon as Charlie stepped foot in Romania, all he wanted to do was head back to England...with his family...and with Samantha. Romania was not his home anymore.

Charlie finished packing and then headed down to the common area to do one last check in with his boss before leaving the following day.

He walked down the hill from his house towards the main pavilion where he knew his boss, Henry Rosenberg, would be.

"Charlie, good evening," Henry said, once he saw Charlie walking in.

"Henry," Charlie spoke, shaking his boss' hand.

"Everything packed?

Charlie nodded. "Just about, just wanted to check in and see if there was anything I had to do before leaving."

Henry took a folder from the file organizer on his desk and opened it. "I don't think so. We're finishing up inventory on the north side over the summer so you'll be back for that. Other than that, I think you're good. It was one heck of a mating season these last few months so I am grateful for your hard work. You've definitely earned these couple of weeks off."
