I came in at about 4:10 am, because a crime had occurred early this moning. "Good morning." I say to my collegues as I make my way to my office.

I set my coffee on the ground so I can grab my keys. "Oh let me help you with that." I turned around to see Wyatt. "Oh, thank you Wyatt." He grabbed my coffee and purse while I unlocked my door.

I walked in and he walked in behind me and set my things on my desk. "Look, Wyatt.." "You don't need to apologize, and I won't ask again. I just wanted to deliver the news to you first."

He went in his back pocket and handed me an envelope. "What's this?" "Open it." He said with a smile. When I began to open it, the chief shouted from the other side of the office.

"I need my ten agents, stat!" "I'll have to read this later." I tried to walk as fast as I could to the Chiefs office to hear his announcement.

I walked in and the chief said, "There was a murder in Los Angeles this morning. A frantic neighbor called this morning, and deputies are ruling a homicide, go down there confirm it and investigate." He said.

"Who's lead?" Justin asked. "Whoever received a letter from me this morning." Wyatt is good friends with the chief, and the envelope he handed to me, was the confirmation of my position. I smiled brightly.

"I'm proud to be your leader. Let us do what we've trained for: Investigate.

When we arrived on the scene, it was horrific. The ambulance and Police lights were flashing brightly, but once I entered the home, the bright lights went dim. There was blood all over the floor and walls. There was definitely a homicide here.

I walked back outside and allowed my team to do their job, while I spoke with the sherrif.

"Who was killed?" I began to write notes. "A 37 year old woman, Barbara Jones, Stabbed, her husband, 42 year old, Keith Jones head partially decapitated, and shot, 4 rounds penetrated." I felt sick just hearing what happened to these poor people.

"Suspect?" I asked. "On the loose. They must have ran off before we got here." He said. "Yeah, they always do, but we always catch them." I said with confidence

"Excuse me!" I turned around and a man was nearly about to cross the yellow tape. "Sir stay behind the tape."

"Are they okay?" He asked. "Sir, stay behind the tape!" I raised my voice. "Do you know these people?" I asked. "Yes! I'm the one that called you guys here!" He said frantically.

"Okay, sir, I'm going to need you to calm down." I said. "What's your name?" I asked. "Bruno. Bruno Hernandez." I wrote his name down.

I wrote him down as a witness, "I'll have to take you down to the station for questioning." He seemed nervous. "But I didn't do anything." He said. "And if you didn't do anything, you wouldn't be so frightful. We're just going to need information on the calls that were made before we got here, because you obviously saw or heard something for us to all be here. Okay?" I asked. "Yes, ma'am."

I grabbed him by his arm, and led him to my car. "Where are you taking him? You need to stay here!" Justin said coming out of the house. "He's a witness, and I'm taking him for questioning. Let me see your camera." I snatched the camera from his hands.

I scanned through all of the pictures and he took nothing from this crime scene. "Before you start worrying about what I'm doing, make sure, you get your shit together Justin, or I will be telling the chief that you're slacking on the job."
