I had these vivid images in my head. Bruno and I having sex in the back of a cadillac, and when I thought this was all a fairytale, it was truly a reality.

Waking, hearing the music of the heart. The beat and its rhythm tickled my ear yet satisfied it. I slowly opened my eyes to find myself still in the back seat with Bruno.

Both naked, but we kept each other warm from our body heat. I sat up and yawned. I looked to my left to see the sun rising from among the horizon. It was truly beautiful to see first thing waking up.

I heard Bruno grunt and he shifted himself. He was finally waking up himself. "Good morning." I whisper. With a smile and his eyes adjusting to the light, he said, "Good morning." With a raspy voice.

He sat up beside me and viewed the horizon as well. "It's beautiful isn't it?" I asked. "It really is." Bruno agreed. "But nothing is more satisfying to look at than you." He added.

Bruno put his hands on my waist and said, "I guess we had a really rough night." Bruno laughed. Our hair was pretty crazy and we looked a mess.

"Yeah, but I don't regret any moment of it." I smiled. I gave him a kiss and we continued to watch the sun rise.

"Bruno, when you make your songs, do you ever just make something so great, but then again, you feel like something is just missing?" I asked. "All the time. When that happens, I know I'm going to figure it out. I won't stop till I get it." He said. "Why?" He added.

I didn't say anything, but by this point, Bruno could practically read me like a book. "You want your job back, don't you?" "Bruno, I'm so incomplete without it. I loved my job." "So why don't you go back and try?"

"Because they know I slept with you. They all saw it. What could possibly persuade them to give me my job back?" "Maybe when you find some evidence, tease them with it, and they'll just have to hire you." Bruno said. "Its a good plan, if I had some evidence."

We sat there in pure silence and awkwardness. "We should probably start heading home." Bruno said. He put his clothes on and I followed.

When we made it back to my house, I let Bruno inside. "It's been a while since I've been here." Bruno commented to himself. I set my bags on the table and said, "Go ahead and take a seat." Bruno did as I suggested and I asked, "Do you want something to drink?" "Just a water." He retorted.

I went into the fridge and pulled out a bottle of water. When I closed the fridge door, my doorbell rang. "I'll get it." I said. I handed Bruno his water, and walked to the door.

I opened the door to see Faith and Charlie. I was shocked to even see them here. "Is everything okay, Eve?" Bruno asked. "Yeah." I said without breaking eye contact with them. I stepped outside and asked, "What are you guys doing here?" I crossed my arms. "Eve, we miss you. It's not the same without you." Faith said. "I think we all needed some time away from each other, and me and Faith think it's time we all get back together." Charlie added. "You two knew I was getting fired, and you didn't even try to fight for me."

Faith shook her head and said, "And that's where you're wrong Eve. We did fight for you. But there was nothing we could do. Our biggest problem was breaking it to you. That's why we didn't say anything." "Exactly, what were we supposed to do? Go get some coffee, gossip, have fun and then just randomly say oh yeah, you're getting fired because you're sexually intimate with a man. We didn't know a better approach." Charlie added.

"Well its over now, and the killers are people from the headquarters." I said. "I'm done with the case. I have nothing to do with that anymore. It's none of my concern." I added. "Genevieve, you're better than that. You're not done with anything. You're the only one with something up your sleeve and you have information that only you know." Charlie said.

I crossed my arms and looked away from them. "You know you want your job back. You're going to find those killers and we want to help you." Faith said. "Bitch, I didn't agree to that." Charlie whispered. Faith smacked Charlie in his stomach.

This was the things that I missed. Just the little things like that. I chuckled. "Baby girl, we're sorry for hurting you. You honestly deserve the best." Faith pulled her hair behind her hair. "We love you Eve." Charlie added.

"I love you guys too." I hugged them, and I couldn't even explain how much I missed them. Faith and Charlie have always been there for me, and when I lost them, it hurt terribly.

"Is everything alright out here." "Well I'll be damned, how you doing Bruno?" Charlie flung his hand. "Do I know you?" Bruno laughed although he was confused. "No, but we can get to know each other..."

I put my face in my hands. "Bruno, these are my friends from the agency. This is Faith." Faith waved and greeted. "...and this is Charlie." Charlie put his hand out and said, "It's a pleasure."
