March 3, 2015

Back in the office after my first day back and there was nothing really going on at the moment. The day was dragging, and I was just dying to go home although I just arrived here. I didn't sleep well last night, and usually that says a lot.

I didn't have time to brew a batch of coffee this morning at the house and so I decided to make a cup at the office. I headed to the break room, and set the the coffee in to brew.

"Good morning Genevieve." Wyatt walked in, and gave me a side hug. "Hey, good morning, Wyatt." I retorted. "I hope your boyfriend doesn't get mad I hugged you." He said. "Why would you think he'd be mad?" "Well, he seems like the protective type, which is perfectly okay." He put his hands up. "He's protective of me, but then again, I am a grown woman. We respect each others space." I smiled. "That's a good relationship. I'm happy for you guys." He grabbed a paper cup and straw.

"Wyatt, I don't want things to be awkward between us." I said. "I don't either. I just want to watch you grow and succeed and be happy. That's all." He patted my back, and grabbed a few packets of sugar.

When the coffee was finished brewing, I poured it into my cup, and handed the pot the Wyatt. I leaned against the counter and watched Wyatt pour his coffee, as I sipped on mine. "I don't understand how you can drink coffee black like that. No sugar, not even cream." He said, cringing a little bit.

"Works better for me. I used to watch my father drink it like this. He'd be up all night, which for me and my sister, wasn't a good sight. Because he'd mix it with some Vodka." I said, trying to smile.

"Your dad was an alcoholic?" He asked. "Not heavy, but when he got his mouth on it, it wasnt a pretty picture. Coffee, for me, keeps me focused on what I need to do." I said. "Well." Wyatt put his cup in the air. "Drink up." He chuckled.

"Well, we better get back out to the floor." I said. I said walking to the door. "Yeah, we should." He giggled. I opened the door, but then remembered I was forgetting my keys.

I quickly turned around, not realizing how close Wyatt was behind me, spilling my coffee on his and my shirt. "Oh my God, I'm so sorry." I gasped. He grunted from heat, but laughed. "It's okay. I was too close."

"We're going to have to put that in the washer." I pointed at the stain. "Yours too." He pointed. "Damn, I'm such an idiot." He grabbed my wrist, "No you're not. Accidents happen." He said. "We will just have to go to the clothes locker and change. That's it." I looked down, realizing he was still holding my wrist.

"I'm sorry." He quickly let go.

That night

"Babe, I'm home." I shouted as I entered Bruno's home. "In the back!" He called. I set my purse and keys on the table and walked to the bedroom.

"Hey baby." Bruno said walking out of the bathroom. He appeared as if he were preparing himself for a shower before going to bed. "How was your day?" Bruno asked. "It was pretty good." He came over and hugged me. My chest stuck to his, and it was very uncomfortable.

"What is that?" He touched the sticky substance on my chest. "Oh pfft." I laughed. "Me and Wyatt were making coffee and we had a little accident." "A little accident?" Bruno asked. "Yes. But I'll have to take a shower, obviously, before I go to bed."  I said.

"Hmmm." Bruno scoffed. "What?" "I don't trust him, Eve. One point, he had this big crush on you, then I came into the picture, now he's a little strange." Bruno said. "That's his personality. He just wants me to be happy. He's probably just trying to get over it." I said to Bruno.

"Don't baby him Eve." He curled his brow. "I'm not babying him, I'm just defending him on what is true." Bruno flared his nostrils. "I think you're just over exaggerating this. Trust me babe." I walked over to Bruno, and wrapped my arms on his lower back.

"Or do you think he's trying to compete with you?" I whispered, biting my lip. "Why would I compete for treasure that I've already claimed as mine?" Bruno asked kissing my forehead. "Good question. Nothing to worry about big fella." I wrapped my lips, slowly and softly on his.

"You do need a shower though." I scrunched up my face. "You do too." He said to me. "Do you wanna-" "Yeah..."

It was alway awkward asking each other to bathe or shower together we wanted it, we enjoyed it, but just didn't know how to ask.
