August 13, 2014

Ever since I was removed from my position in the LA murder case, I was given more off time. Which gave me more time to spend with Bruno.

I pulled up to Bruno's house, and I brought him a little gift, and I know he's not expecting it at all. I rang the doorbell, and waited for him to answer.

"Hey Eve." He greeted me. I had my bag for the weekend in my hand, and Bruno insisted, "Let me get those for you." He took my bags, and put them by the door.

"I have some more stuff in the trunk for us." I said. We walked back to my car, and I opened the trunk. I brought many goodies, such as chips, sodas and juice, and sweets. "Damn, girl." Bruno said. I laughed and said, "Come and help me."

We grabbed the bags and brought them inside to the kitchen. "I think there's one more I'll go get it." I went into the trunk and reached to the very back. I pulled out a very large and long box, which was  completely wrapped up.

I walked into the house to see Bruno sitting on the couch. "What the hell is that?" Bruno asked. "Open it." I smiled. Bruno was suspicious, but opened it anyways.

"Genevieve...no." He was ultimately surprised, and that's what I was looking for. Bruno pulled out a golden-brown electric guitar from the box.

"I saw it when I was at the mall the other day, and I could just see you playing it someday." I smiled. "Thank you!" Bruno moved over closer to me. "In fact, I have something for you. It's nothing big like this. But I hope you'll like it."

Bruno said, "Close your eyes." I closed my eyes, and I heard him shuffling around. "Okay, open your eyes." He said. I opened my eyes to see Bruno holding a ring, with little rhinestones on it.

"Bruno, it's beautiful

"Bruno, it's beautiful." He slid it on my right ring finger. "I got you this, because I had a follow up question." Bruno appeared nervous. "What is it?" I smiled. "Well, we've been knowing each other for over a month now, and I wanted know...if you'll be my girl."

I was beyond speechless. I never had a boyfriend before. I never been this intimate before with anyone. "You...want me to be...your girlfriend?" I asked. "Yes. Genevieve, I really like you. Call me crazy, but Eve...I love you." Bruno explained.

Never had I thought I'd ever be in a situation like this. "Yes. I'll be your girlfriend." I couldn't believe this feeling I was experiencing right now. I was so happy. I was happier than I was before. Bruno pulled me in for a gentle kiss. "We're going to have a fun weekend. I can guarantee you that." Bruno said to me.

Bruno and I sat on the couch laughing and hollering with pizza in our hands, with a soda on that side. "You flipped him over in training? You're one bad ass girl." Bruno said, once I explained a story of my training to him. "It's my way of defense." I shrugged my shoulders. I set my pizza down and soda.

"So if I..." Bruno crawled over to me on the couch. "...did this." Bruno laid on top of me. "Would you show your way of defense?" He asked sexually. "No. But I'll express my sense of pleasure." I whispered and licked my lips.

"You're so beautiful. I can't ever get enough of you." Bruno kissed me on my lips. "I always want more of you." I smiled. I kissed him once again, and watching him bite his lip, made me want him just a bit more. "What are you doing to me?" I said looking deep into his eyes. "Loving you." He whispered. "I feel like...I'm changing. I've never been this happy. Truly, I've never been so happy to be around someone." I stroked his cheek.

Bruno sat up, and allowed me to cuddle with him. "...and for that, I want to say thank you." I kissed his hand. "Babe, just know, I want to make you happy. I'm not here to change you, but to love you, the way you are." He kissed my temple.

There was a silence for a moment. "What do you do when you can't figure out what to write for a song?" I asked this question in relation to the murder. What can I do, if I can't figure out what to do if I can't find out who the killers are.

"I just wait." He simply said. "Wait..." "Yeah. I just wait till I find some inspiration. Something will smack me in the face and I'll write it down or record it. If I'm not feeling it, I'll throw that idea away, and wait until another miracle happens." Bruno explained.

"Is something bothering you?" Bruno asked me. "Yeah, my job, the position, the case. I want to crack the case, but I can't do it if fucking Justin is pushing me back. The chief doesn't do a fucking thing. It's bullshit." I grew angry. "And waiting is too much anticipation on my part, I just want to work and get it over with." I added. "Do you ever tell them how you feel?" Bruno asked. "I've tried, but they don't listen. But if I told them hey, I'm sleeping with the witness they'd fucking fire me on the spot." Bruno rubbed my hand, "Just be patient. Your time of victory will come."

I guess that's what I have to do. Wait. Wait for some evidence to show up, or for someone to come forward. It's all I can do right now. I'll wait for my victory.

"But, back to what we were doing before." Bruno kissed my cheek. He rubbed his hand up my shirt, but then he suddenly stopped.  "What happened here?" Bruno asked. He noticed a scar that I had under my belly button. "A little incident that happened when I was a teenager." I smiled. "But don't worry about it." I said.
