(44) Letting His Guard Down

Baekhyun closed the car door immediately pag-katapos mag-paalam kay Taeyeon sa labas ng building. Hindi sinasadya na nag-kita sila pag-labas ni Baekhyun kaya naman nag-kamustahan pa ang mga ito.

Pag-kaupong pag-kaupo, pinukol agad sya ng masamang tingin ni Chanyeol, na hindi nya pinansin. Yes, he's so done with the tall guy's possessiveness (but he lovesbit).

"Akala ko ba sa kotse ko tayo sasakay?" Tanong ni Chanyeol, pero inirapan nya lang ito. There's no freaking way he would ride his car, lalo na pag-katapos ng heated make-out session nila sa stairs earlier. Baka hindi sila makarating sa condo nya at mangyari ang mga hindi dapat mangyari.

After the mess earlier, Chanyeol and Kasper got a mouthful of lectures from the director herself and other staffs. Pinatigil na rin muna ang practice dahil kung dadalin daw ng dalawa ang pagiging unprofessional nila sa loob ng practice room, better not to continue. And he agreed with the director kahit na kinikilabutan parin sya tuwing titingnan sya nito.

"Kasper surely deserves a punch." Sabi ni Minseok.

"Stop taking sides will you?" Naiinis na sagot ni Baekhyun sa hyung nya. Nag-kibit balikat lang ito.

"Too bad I didn't get to punch that face." Dabog naman ni Chanyeol sa loob ng sasakyan nya.

"Tumahimik ka nga."

"You're taking his side Baek, that's not fair." Bwelta ulit nito kaya pinakyuhan nya si Chanyeol.

Chanyeol's judgement is idiocy. Ni wala sa hulog ang pinag-sasabi nito. Would he even kiss Chanyeol if he's taking Kasper's side?

"You're an idiot." Inis nyang sabi saka ulit bumaling sa harap.

Kasper, sure, Kasper is a great guy but that's not enough to change his heart. Si Kasper lang ang kaisa-isang tao na nag-paramdam ng tuwa at inis sakanya ng sabay, as in literal na sabay.

Minseok drove through the traffic hanggang sa makarating sila sa condominium ni Baekhyun. Agad syang bumaba sa sasakyan habang ganon din ang ginawa ni Chanyeol.

"Baek? Uuwi na ko?" Tanong ni Minseok pero umiling sya. He doesn't want to be alone with Chanyeol. Alam nya kasi kung saan mapupunta yon and they need to fucking talk. As in real talking, usapang tao. No lies, no lacking infos, just plain truth.

And Chanyeol touching him in places might got in the way of the talk he wanted. Iyon naman kasi talaga ang dahilan kung bakit sya pumayag na papasukin ulit ito sa bahay nya, at i-entertain ang pleads nito.

"Baek, please, you don't need a chaperone when we talk."

"Yeah whatever." Tinignan nya ulit si Minseok pero nginitian lang sya nito. A knowing smile. Great, iiwan sya ng manager nya sa lalaking to, that's so Jongdae alike, nakakainis.

"Baek, you need privacy. Both of you need privacy, I shouldn't get involve dahil hindi naman ako kasali. I'm just a manager."

"And my friend." Dagdag ni Baekhyun. Pero hindi na sya pinakinggan ni Minseok. Baekhyun's being the coward he is. Natatakot sya, at kailangan nya ng kakampi.

"Let's go." Hinawakan na sya ni Chanyeol sa braso bago mag-paalam kay Minseok.

Nang makapasok sila sa elevator, pakiramdam nya, the walls are closing in on him. He felt like a mouse trap in between the cat's paws. It's just the two of them in an enclosed space. They're breathing the same freaking air, just the both of them. And he can't fucking deny the tension-sexual or not, it doesn't matter-inside the elevator.

"Don't worry," tumingala si Chanyeol, "I won't touch you if you don't want me to."

Nakahinga sya ng maluwag dahil sa narinig, mukang sobrang obvious naman non ng marinig nya si Chanyeol na tumawa ng mahina.
