You stalked through the woods with a frown set on your face. It had only been three days, but those three days were enough to set up an okay living space. But food, food was always a problem. Not only were the other clans hunting the woods, but now the sky people were as well.

A slight waver of a branch caught your attention, the noise of a twig snapping making you whip around, spear raised. After another movement, you there the spear whirling towards the bush. A loud yelp came soon after, but it was different from the sound of prey, almost human.

Quickly walking over, you pushed the branches to the side to see a beaten up looking man collapsed on the ground, holding his bleeding arm. His eyes met your with terror apparent in them. He scurried back, but you stepped forwards, intrigued by the boy. He didn't wear clothes of her people, he was from the tribe in the sky.

"Why are you so far our here, sky boy." You spoke lowly. His teeth clenched together, grinding against each other.

"I-i was banished." his voice was raspy and dry, lips chapped. Bruises and cuts littered his body, as well as his new bleeding cut, your spear giving just nicked him.

"What for?"

"A crime I didn't commit."

"What's your name?"

"Murphy."

"Gia." Letting out a low sigh, you stared at the sky boy with a look of sympathy. Though bringing him to your camp wasn't ideal, you couldn't help but introduce the idea. You sympathized with the sky boy.

Throwing his arm around your shoulders, you aided him to stand, letting out a low sigh. Thanking yourself for making camp close by, you helped the boy stumble back to camp with you. The makeshift tent was finally in your sights, allowing you to let out a sigh of relief. Finally entering the area, you placed Murphy on the ground, digging through your things.

"Seems like a bad place to stay."

"Yeah, well its not permanent. Sky people aren't the only ones who think banishment for a crime you didn't commit is acceptable." You muttered, coming up with a canteen of water, a few spare rags, and an antibiotic ointment. Passing the boy the canteen, you sat in front of him, staring to clean the blood and dirt from his face. This exposed the individual cuts and bruises, making you cringe. "For now, you need to rest and I need to find food."

"Thanks doc." he chuckled to himself, touching the cream layered over his cuts. You slapped his hands away, turning to retrieve your spear.

"I'll be back."

You seemed to be gone for hours before you made your trek back with two rabbits as bounty. The closer you grew to your destination, the more voices you began to hear. Stopping on the outskirts of your camp sight, you peered in, seeing three men surrounding Murphy. He let out muffled screams against the cloth wrapped around his mouths, thrashing around to try and tug out of his restraints, but it was no give.

Drawing in a deep breath, you held your spear out, doing what you had been trained to do so many years ago. You ran in, spear raised, taking out one of the men instantly. He fell to the ground, the other men whipping around. Weaponless, you ducked behind a tree as an axe was thrown at you. As you reach to steal it, one of the men dragged you to the ground, pinning you down. He pulled a knife out, twirling it in his hand.

But before he could make the blow, Murphy's body collided with his, making both of the tunnel over you. The other man wasn't far behind, going after Murphy. You jumped up, taking the machete from the dead man and going after one of the men. At that point, Murphy had managed to get out of his restraints and get his hand on a knife.

Blow after blow, you blocked the man's hits, finally getting the upper hand to jab the blade into his stomach. Looking to your side, Murphy slid the knife across the other man's throat. A gargled yell of pain ended as soon as it began.

You shared a look with Murphy, letting out a low breath, allowing yourself to relax. "Well, looks like it's time to relocate, already." You laughed to yourself, causing Murphy to let out a low laugh.

"Sounds like a plan doll." He agreed. The two of you packed your things, before going to the dead Mens horses. You gently peeled away the wool clan marks from them, before loading your belongings.

"You good to ride?"

"Looks like I'll have to."
