"It takes all of the pain away; the heart break. All of those deaths, the pain erased from your mind. You won't be able to feel that shoulder anymore, like it was never hurt." Jahas words echo in your mind, his hand out stretched. "All you have to do is take the key."

Your hands were shakey, but you slowly took the device. "What's the catch?" But Jaha simply shook his head, a hopeful smile on his face.

"Tranquility. That is simply it." Jaha smiled. You let out a deep breath, twirling "the key" in your hand. He offered you a canteen, slowly taking it as you placed the device at your lips.

"Tranquility." You mumbled to yourself, taking the key into your mouth. A wave of relief seemed to wash over you, eyes slowly opening.

"Welcome, Eva." A gentle voice said, the red dressed woman offering you a smile.

Your eyes widened as the electricity coursed through Raven. Alie stood in the middle of the room, worry apparent as she scrambled to Ravens side. But she felt the lose of connection, eyes drifting over to Eva.

As the mechanic seemed to reanimate, Alie ran to your side. "They're going to try to do you now. There's enough power left for them to pull you out, but you can't let them! You need to stay in the city Eva!" Looking past the womans shoulder, you could see the Blakes coming to your side your side, Sanclair and Monty trailing close behind.

"Wait, no. Please don't do this! Bellamy no!" You panicked, realizing that your relief was about to be ripped away from you. "Bell, it's me. I promise that it's me in here, now please. Let me stay in the city!" You pleaded, trying to rip away at the restraints. But Octavia and Jasper worked at tightening them.

"You need to stop. In months time, Raven will begin to have seizures, she will be affected by this procedure. A stroke is in her future. And the same with happen to Eva." Alie spoke through the girl, but that didn't make them stall. "You could be killing to able bodied young girls. Where Eva is, she will never be in pain-"

"Shut it." Bellamy growled, tying a cloth around your mouth. But Alie allowed you to come forwards, panic coursing through you as you thrashed.

"Bell- it's me." But your words were far too muffled as you felt the cool metal press against your skin. "No!" You screech, which only came out as a muffled cry. Electricity suddenly shot through you with such intensity that pushed your brain to unconsciousness.

"Untie her." Bellamy ordered, untying the cloth from your mouth. "Eva." He breathed, cupping your face in his hands. The melted chip seeped down your neck as you came to, tears in your eyes. Pain seemed to hit you all at once, causing you to let out a cry.

"Thank god." Octavia muttered as Bellamy pulled you into a hug. But you pushed him away, wincing as you moved your shoulder.

"Why did you do that?" You asked with tear filled eyes. Bellamy gently took one of your hands, brushing a strand of hair from your eyes.

"You're fine now-"

"No I'm not! I was fine where I was Bellamy. You shouldn't have just ripped me away like that." You screamed at him, pulling away from the older Blake.

"E-Eva. I don't understand-"

"Give her some time Bellamy." Raven called out, catching the boys attention. "All of that pain just came rushing back. She needs a moment."

"Eva-"

"Listen to Raven, leave me alone." You spat, dropping your head. Tears slowly fell from your cheeks, Bellamy fighting the urge to wipe them away. "Go!"

"Eva, I- I was trying to save you. I- I love you-"

"If you loved me, then you would have left me in a place where all the pain was taken away. Where I could feel a sense of peace, tranquility, safety." You sniffled, not looking up at the boy. "Is this pain what you really want for me, Bellamy?"
