Perched on your heels, ready for a fight at any moment. You sat amoungst Skaikru, the people who took you in after you were cast out of your own clan. But at that time, they didn't know of your mother's crimes. You thought you could run from it, but you were suddenly staring down a fight with Azgenda.

A gentle hand ran down your back, making you jump to your feet, knife in your hand. "Woah there killer." Murphy's smirking face stared back at you, despite the blade held to his throat. But his eyes softened as he focused in on you; though your face was hard, he could see the fear in your eyes. "Hey, we aren't going to let anything happen to you. Relax a little-"

"I'm not one of your people, John. Why would they protect me like this." You spoke lowly, head dropping.

"Consider yourself honorary Skaikru." He chuckled to himself, brushing your hair behind your ear. "I care more about you than I do myself. I'm not going to let a single thing happen to you, Sky."

"Azgenda is ruthless."

"You're scared, I get that-"

Arms thrown in the air, you tore away from the boy. "Murphy I'm terrified. W-what if they find me? What will it be? Torture? Death by a thousand cuts? Feed me to the-"

"Sky." Murphy quickly cut you off, taking your hands in his. Threading his fingers through yours, he placed a gentle kiss against your forehead. "If they find you, I will protect you. If they take you, I will go after you. I will never give up on you."

"Promise?"

"I promise."
